July 22 was the time when Zhang Yi was scheduled to go to Tongren, Guizhou to study. As the head of Yicheng "Changhe" Cake Company, Zhang Yi will go out to study regularly every year. However, a heavy rainstorm in a neighboring province disrupted Zhang Yi's plans to go out.
When she learned about the disaster from the news, Zhang Yi thought about doing something for the people in the disaster area, and after receiving the initiative of the Yicheng City Party Committee and Municipal Government to help Henan, Zhang Yi did not hesitate to sign up: "I am a volunteer, or a model of Chudu, and it is my duty to support the disaster area!" ”
Volunteers set off with relief supplies
"All the bread and snacks in our store have stopped selling to the outside world, so we have to pack and pack them up." After making a decision, Zhang Yi immediately called all the store managers of the company, urgently adjusted the sales task, raised bread and snacks to help the frontline of the disaster area, alleviated the shortage of materials on the front line, and helped flood prevention and disaster relief.
At 1 p.m. on July 22, Zhang Yi took the 20 pieces of bread collected and joined other volunteers in a rescue vehicle bound for Xinmi, Henan.
"Quick! fast! fast! Let's help with the move. At 7 p.m. on July 22, the first batch of volunteers from Yicheng rushed to Pingmo Town, Xinmi City, with relief materials.
