Starring Cao Jun, An Yuexi, Luo Gang and Zhao Liang, starring Yang Haoyu, and starring Gao Yiqing, Hu Wenzhe, Cui Liya, Xu Yukun, Jiang Yiming and Cao Yi, the rural revitalization network drama "On the Field of Hope" will officially land on Tencent Video at 8 p.m. on the 15th, and the story of the ideal youth's rural "dream chasing" will also officially kick off.
"On the Field of Hope" takes warmth and inspiration as the background of the story, innovatively starts from the perspective of young party members, with immersive rural life experience, and shows the history of rural revitalization in a panoramic manner.

"On the Field of Hope" tells the story of Zhang Nan (Cao Jun), who graduated with a master's degree, was forced to give up the great future of Shanghai due to his mother's cancer, and returned to the native Baiguo Village as the leader of the team with a heavy ideological baggage. In the days of working in Baiguo Village, Zhang Nan's perseverance and indomitable personality contributed a lot to the revitalization of the countryside, and also untied the childhood knot, and joined hands with his girlfriend Bian Xiaoyue (An Yuexi) to devote himself to the wider countryside.
At present, China is vigorously promoting education reform, and the latest "teacher rotation system" implemented in some cities has become a hot topic. The plot of "education system reform" deeply reflected in "On the Field of Hope" is deeply in line with the development of national policies, and all of this is due to the careful polishing of the script by many behind-the-scenes experts. The drama innovatively dialogues "spiritual and cultural revitalization" from the perspective of young people, adopts the parallel structure of "fuzhi and fuzhi", deeply explores the reform of the education system through episodes, and deeply integrates with the "fuzhi" line, successfully unlocking the "youthful state" of rural revitalization.
This drama is personally taken by Rao Jun, a senior screenwriter in the industry who has participated in the creation of popular film and television works such as "Flowers and Bones" and "Ancient Dust". Rao Jun has a wealth of experience in rural life, and has also witnessed villagers fighting over water, the lack of educational facilities and teachers for rural students, and real cases such as left-behind children relying on letters to communicate with their parents, intending to call on more young people to actively feed their hometowns and build their hometowns through this drama.
As a main theme film and television work, this drama refuses to levitate in the shaping of characters and strives to be real. Zhang Nan, the captain of the "hope of the whole village," will also fight with the villagers because of the speed of the quarrel; Bian Xiaoyue, who is gentle in appearance but determined to encounter things; Li Shitao, director of the Education Bureau with good leadership, will have an unkind and cold side; there is also Lin Qingqing, a yuanqi girl who "cries her nose" when she is frustrated; Geng Yiming, who is "economically minded" who has been unfairly punished and refuses to write about inspections; Liu Manqing, who gives up the "abacus" when she encounters difficulties; and in the portrayal of grass-roots cadres, Zhang Zhihua, the secretary of the village party committee, is an ordinary person who will oscillate between responsibility and selfishness... The personality of the character is real and perceptible. The "imperfect" story characters grow together with the vivid "stationed" story. In the "de-stereotyped" Yungui rural story, the audience witnesses the growth and transformation of the characters.
It is worth mentioning that in order to show the new rural style with a more contemporary atmosphere, the series adopts a realistic approach to present the Yungui rural style with delicate pyrotechnic breath as a traditional video presentation; at the same time, the delicate display of the production process of Yungui special foods such as spicy chicken, sour soup horn fish, rice tofu and other Yungui specialties in the play, as well as the local dialects with unique local characteristics of the characters in the play, are interesting.
