BYRON DAVIS: James was expected at 17 and then he took on the league

Former NBA player Byron Davis was recently interviewed in an interview to praise Lakers forward LeBron James.

"The guys came into the league at the age of 17 or 18, and he already had the expectations of the outside world. They've compared him to Michael [Jordan], they've compared him to Kobe, they've compared him to everybody. And what did he do? He created his own territory. What he does is help children, invest in companies, make movies, pave the way for the entertainment industry, support his buddies. I say he did better because this guy did so many things without causing controversy. All he does is improve himself, be vocal, do his role and fulfill his duties, and he's been doing it since he was 18 years old.

"Did this dude have a year off?" Have you had a week off? Can we leave him alone with his family and children for even a month? Can they take a month off? Because he has been on a mission since the first day he entered the industry, he has been taking on a heavy responsibility. Once he entered the league, he bore the weight of his own fame. Then he started taking on more, and he started shouldering the whole league. All those Miami things, we all know of guys as talented as he is, you definitely need some help. That gave him the ability to take on the responsibility of carrying the alliance. Davis said.
