4. Beijing cloves
Beijing lilac, a small deciduous tree, up to 12 meters high. Large conical inflorescence, the flowers are small and dense, milky white to beige, the aroma is strong and pungent, so the countryside of Hebei calls it "stinky purr". The flowering period is from June to July, and it is the late blooming in the same genus.
5. Flowers and leaves lilacs
Flowers and leaves lilacs, bushes of shrubs, up to 2 meters high. The leaves are smaller than other species, and 3 to 9 deep pinnate lobes often appear on the basal germinating branches. Viola purple flowers bloom several times from May to September.
6. Feather leaf cloves
Feather leaf lilac (Syringa pinnatifolia Hemsl.) Shrubs, odd pinnate compound leaves, ovate to ovate lanceolate leaflets. Pink flowers, which are white flowers dyed red or purple and are fragrant.
7. Soft hair cloves
Soft-haired lilac, alias Qiao Linghua. Shrub, 1 to 3 meters tall. The corolla is purple to viola purple, the flower tube is thin, the lobes are narrow, and slightly open.
8. European cloves
European cloves, also known as lilacs, are similar to lilacs, but their leaves are ovate to long ovate, growing wider than wide, and the corolla is light purple.
