Derived from a kitten named Miss DePesto, this kitten was born in Montana in 1987 to a blue-white, distinctively furred wild cat. This kitten has curly whiskers , ear hair , and back coat. A Persian cat breeder named Jeri Newman thought it might have a new mutant hair gene, so she mated with a black male Persian cat. Three of the kittens they give birth to are curly coats.
