After a short trip to Kenting, we drove along Route 26 to Kaohsiung and then from Fenggang to a section of Highway 9 (SouthBound Highway) in the east of Taitung. Since the highway crosses between the central mountains in central and eastern Taiwan, Highway 9 is a standard winding road from Fenggang to the eastern coastal section (Dawu), with nearly 40 kilometers of winding roads, basically about 100 meters and a turn, and there are almost no straight lines throughout the whole process. From Taitung to Hualien, there are two roads on the map to choose from, one is to continue to The Huadong Longitudinal Mountain Route of Highway 9, along which there are Chishang Mountain Pastures, natural and cultural attractions such as Yuli and Guangfu, and the other road is the Huadong Seaside Line of Route 11, along which there are coastal sightseeing belts such as East Coast Park, Ono willow, and Sanxiantai. The two roads, calculated from Taitung, are separated by layers of coastal mountains in the middle, and will not intersect again until Hualien.

Line 9 and Line 11 in Huadong Longitudinal Valley are almost two parallel highways, if you want to cross each other in the middle, there are only two places with horizontal road connections, one in Yuli and one in Guangfu. We walked on the No. 11 Jia Guangfeng Highway from Fengbin Township to Guangfu Township. Although this is a time-consuming and laborious winding road, we will not miss the part of the Huadong Longitudinal Valley Mountain Line north of Guangfu.

According to the inquiry, Hualien is the last place in Taiwan to be inhabited by The Han Chinese, known as "Qilai" in ancient times, also known as Huanlan, is currently the largest county in Taiwan. In fact, I think Hualien should add a "mochi city" title to be more graphic, because whether you are in the urban area or suburbs of Hualien, you can see shops selling mochi everywhere.
