Nissan Toyota will unveil its new rav4, dubbed Adventure, to be launched in the UK in early 2022 with some wild exteriors and updated interiors
The latest Toyota RAV4 will be updated with matte gray 19-inch alloy wheels, wider wheel arches and a more aggressive front bumper, as well as an impressive black radiator grille and headlights. There's also a new silver skid plate at the rear
The SUV comes with projection ceremony LED headlights and LED front fog lights, as well as new 10-spoke alloy wheels, available in black or silver depending on the décor. The RAV4 in Australia will be equipped with new LED front fog lights, whether gasoline or hybrid. The seats add an eight-way electric adjustable passenger seat, front seat ventilation and digital mirrors.
Inside, the RAV4 Adventure will be paired with brand pedals and a specific model of quilted synthetic leather interior with contrasting orange stitching. The car is equipped with an 8-inch infotainment system. Black synthetic leather interior, contrasting orange stitching, unique sill panels, and paint options available in both urban khaki and dynamic grey shades. The car will be equipped with the braking function of the rear intersection warning system, as well as the stop-start technology of all gasoline models, while the European version will also get a USB-C charging port. The design will be standard in all hybrid models in Australia, and the RAV4 also benefits from new LED lighting, power-adjustable passenger seats, and backlit power window switches.
Powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder gasoline hybrid system, the rear wheels will be equipped with an electric motor to provide all-wheel drive for the SUV. The total output power is 219bhp. As with all RAV4 models, the hybrid system works with the CVT.
In my opinion, I don't understand why Toyota doesn't offer a two-tone roof on the RAV4, and hopefully the update will change that. The retro script grille looks great on some edges, and I'd also expect to see Aris cross lattes and mineral blues, as well as C-HR hornets added to the palette. Both have a choice of white roofs.
