One of Shakespeare's "Four Tragedies"

Macbeth, Hamlet, Othello, and King Lear are recognized as William Shakespeare's "Four Tragedies."

"Macbeth" tells the story of General Macbeth, the cousin of King Duncan of Scotland, who returned from fighting the king's rebellion and defending against the invasion, and encountered three witches on the way. The witch gave him prophecies and whispers that he would become king, but that he would have no heirs to inherit the throne, but that the descendants of his colleague General Banko would be kings. Macbeth was an ambitious hero who murdered Duncan at the instigation of his wife and became king. In order to hide his eyes and ears and prevent others from seizing the throne, he killed Duncan's bodyguards step by step, killed Banko, and killed the wife and children of the nobleman McDuff. Fear and suspicion made Macbeth more and more ghostly and cold in his heart. Lady Macbeth died of insanity, and Macbeth was not sad at all. In the face of rebellion, Macbeth faced a siege by Duncan's son and the English reinforcements he had invited, and ended up with a slash of his head.

Macbeth deserves the pain and demise of a tyrant like Macbeth.

Verdi operas are the most challenging for performers

Macbeth is an opera composed by the composer Verdi based on Shakespeare's famous tragedy of the same name, and because of its strong theatrical appeal, it is known as the most challenging of Verdi's operas for performers.

The prelude consists of several themes of the play. The initial woodwind chorus theme is from the scene of the witch at the opening of the third act, followed by ghost music from the same scene. The sad melody of the second half is the presentation of the music of Madame Macbeth's "Sleepwalking" in the fourth act.

The most important character in the opera is Lady Macbeth, who is often considered one of the most difficult female characters to play due to her inner contradictions and fluctuating emotions. Several of Madame Macbeth's vocals are also the biggest attractions in this opera, Verdi wrote two extremely difficult arias for the soprano who played Madame Macbeth, not only requiring the singer to have a very beautiful high note, but also a full and thick meso-low voice area in the soprano style; not only to have a strong and compelling dramatic voice, but also to show a devious, sinister, intrigue, hesitant, speculative, fearful, weak and so on in the change of the weak voice, and there are only a few sopranos who can really perform this role.

Sex and the City

Verdi's opera, an opera intertwined with fate, superstition, power and guilt, uses powerful music to interpret Shakespeare's Desire city state, and is an important symbol of the composer's transition from early to artistic maturity.

Verdi's opera Macbeth, closely based on Shakespeare's original work, was the tenth opera he wrote at the age of 34, and was premiered on March 10, 1847, at the Teatro Peguera in Florence, and translated into French in 1865 at the Lyric Opera in Paris.

Unlike Verdi's other operas, Macbeth does not feature a combination of tenor and sopranos as the protagonists, narrating love stories, but with baritone and theatrical sopranos, vividly depicting the mental journey of a couple who are dominated by the desire for power.
