Art comes from life, but it is higher than life

Art comes from the theory of life, and the Russian literary theorist Chernyshevsky has an earlier and more extensive exposition. Zhu Guangqian also had the same view. He believes that there is a distance between art and nature, and that art is subjective, an outpouring of the author's emotions, but it must have undergone some objectification. There are many places in art that, at first glance, seem unreasonable. Characters from ancient Greek and old Chinese dramas often wore masks, high-soled shoes, and performed in a singing tone, not as usual. Speaking does not rhyme, whether it is flat, but poetry must rhyme, and it is said that it is the same. When the artist writes about personal emotions, he cannot live in this emotion at the same time, must objectify it, and must retreat from the taster who stands in the main position to the observer who stands in the guest position.
