"Phoenix Qin" is an old film, about a few private teachers in mountainous areas, many people have not seen it, most of them may be like me, old.
The film was released in China in September 1994, and it's been almost thirty years since then, and the children born that year are now starting to support their families.
When I watched this film, I was in my third year of junior high school, organized by the school.

After reading it, I was very touched and very uncomfortable, and my heart was like a cotton ball blocked, and later I knew a word, called pity.
It is not worth it for those few private teachers, and their lives should not be spent like this.
But I am also very grateful to the private teachers, because in my primary and junior high schools, there are also private teachers to teach us knowledge, answer questions, I am no stranger to them.
Like other teachers, they were a little intellectual, elegant, calm, and dressed cleanly even in the countryside.
They are different from other teachers, with cocoons left by farm work in their palms, running home after class or after school, and they are generally older and more calculating than other teachers.
Because public teachers have a salary of five hundred a month, private teachers are only one-third of them.
This was the current social situation at that time, because the treatment of teachers was not high, and there were fewer teachers who wanted to be teachers, especially in the border and poor areas of the old and the young, in mountainous and rural areas, and there was a severe shortage of teachers.
So there are private teachers, private, as opposed to public.
The biggest difference between private teachers and public teachers is: one is salary, and the other is identity.
Private teachers and public teachers do the same work, but with about 1/3 of the salary of public teachers, for example, the same working age is 20 years, the title is the primary teaching level, the salary of public teachers is nearly 600 yuan, while private teachers are only 230 yuan.
The difference in identity is even more obvious, and those who have become public officials have become public officials, belong to state cadres, and have urban hukou, while private teachers who do public affairs are still peasants.
At that time, this problem gradually evolved into a social problem.
Hubei writer Liu Xinglong wrote a novel "Phoenix Qin" in 1993, because he also served as a teacher, and his work was very sensational.
The following year, "Phoenix Qin" was made into a film of the same name by director He Qun, and the film was even more sensational.

The film begins with Zhang Yingzi, a young woman who failed the college entrance examination, to teach at a rural primary school called Jieling in the depths of the mountains, and tells the touching story of several rural teachers from mutual understanding to mutual support.
Zhang Yingzi pins his hopes on his uncle (Xiu Zongdi), who is the director of the township education committee, and wants to leave the countryside and work in the city no matter what. However, due to the trickery of fate, Hideko was eventually assigned to the contemporary class teacher of Jieling Elementary School in the mountainous area.
Zhang Yingzi (Played by Ju Xue)
Principal Yu is a principal of Yamamura Elementary School. Originally in poor health, he not only had to take care of his wife who had been in bed for a long time but also took care of the students, eating and living with the students every day. He had always wanted to turn right.
Li Baotian plays Principal Yu
Sun Sihai is the director of teaching at Jieling Primary School, and sun sihai and Wang Xiaolan suffered a lot in order to enable the students in the class to read the new textbook. This makes Zhang Yingzi full of respect and sympathy for this pair of lovers who have not finally become dependents.
Wang Xuexi plays Sun Sihai
Deng Youmei, the deputy principal of Jieling Primary School, once said behind her back that Zhang Yingzi was a flying pigeon card, but in person he complimented her on her almost, and also played Sun Sihai's small report.
Feng Qian plays Deng Youmei
The film does not have anything tall, nor does it praise these teachers, it is all small things, and the school is in tatters.
Several teachers have no profound knowledge, nor do they have any lofty ideals, and they are busy all day for a few broken things.
The villages were begged to honour the poor salaries that had been owed, to strive for the target of "conversion from the people to the public", to mobilize the villagers to send their children to school (because the enrolment rate was linked to the salary), to try to pass the township assessment, and to raise money to repair the leaky school buildings. For these few things, they even conspired, cheated, and invited guests to give gifts.
Several of the teachers lived in poverty and worked hard, and at the same time, they each had their own little nine-nine. They are always waiting for the news of the turnaround, and they are always eager to change this difficult fate.
The characters in it are not sublime at all, but the audience is deeply moved.
When I saw this simple flag-raising ceremony, as soon as the national anthem came out, my brain roared, and I was really shocked, that kind of seriousness and solemnity, that kind of small mountain and countryside, the big country, the far away of the nation, the kind of simplicity to the extreme magnificence, let my soul surging for it.
Zhang Yingzi slowly got to know the school and her colleagues, and she wrote a report that attracted the attention of reporters and society, and only then did she get a regular quota.
Several teachers want, who don't want to change their destiny.
Principal Yu then went through some ideological struggle and decided to give up the quota to Zhang Yingzi.
Sun Sihai and Deng Youmei voted by secret ballot, but when Principal Yu talked about Ming Aifen, he agreed to give up the quota to Ming Aifen.
Caritas is an old private, knowing that after he finally turned right, he finally had no regrets and passed away with a smile.
The Phoenix is a small instrument with a simple structure, easy to play, and a crisp tone
Triviality and turbidity are the characteristics of this film.
A high degree of restoration of life is the characteristic of this film.
They are all small people, which is the highlight of this film.
They are like wildflowers in the mountains, growing naturally and blooming silently.
Today, China's rural education has already entered a new stage, but we can never forget how in the second half of the twentieth century, millions of rural teachers who took root in obscurity and deep in the mountains carried out the most basic enlightenment education in Chinese society with simple and beautiful faith.
Hats off to them, teachers have worked hard!
