Guizhou is like a "big tea mountain".

Pu'an tea, which has been picked in early February, is the first "spring color" in the tea industry in Guizhou; there is alpine tea in northwest Guizhou, and tea plants often grow in "alpine clouds" above 1400 meters above sea level.

Qianxi Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture is located in the southwest corner of Guizhou. Especially in the area of Pu'an County and Qinglong County in southwest Qianxi, the geological changes over the past hundreds of millions of years have brought about rich paleontological deposits, on the one hand, the tea seed fossils of Cenozoic Quaternary four-ball tea have been preserved on this land, which proves that Guizhou is located in the core area of the origin of the world's tea plants.

Bijie | Alpine clouds produce good tea
If the advantage of Pu'an tea is "early", then the characteristic of Bijie tea is "high" - here is at the junction of Yunnan and Qian, the majestic Wumeng Mountain stretches from north to south, occupying the highest point in the whole of Guizhou: leek ping at an altitude of 2901 meters.

The most typical alpine tea is located in Nayong County, not far from Hezhang Leek Ping. The average altitude of the county here is 1684 meters, and nearly 200,000 acres of tea gardens in the territory, most of which are planted on the high mountains of 1400 meters to 2200 meters, the tea gardens are cloudy all year round, and the growing tea leaves grow slowly due to low temperatures, precipitating more flavor substances, more tender and fragrant.
Bijie's tea is not only high in altitude, but also has a high historical status. The "Guizhou Tongzhi" records that "Pingyuan Province Tea Production Rock", refers to the Gu Zhen tea produced in Gu Zhen Village, Nayong County, as early as the Ming and Qing Dynasties is a tribute tea, and there are still more than 1,000 ancient tea trees preserved in the village.

In addition, Bijie also has Jinsha Gong tea in Jinsha County and Haima Palace tea in Dafang County, all of which entered the royal field of vision early in ancient times; and the unique Wusa roasted tea is similar to the "canned tea" in Sichuan, Gansu and other places, full of strong national customs.

During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Central (Meitan) Experimental Tea Farm in Zunyi successfully developed "Meihong" and "Meilu" under the auspices of Liu Ganzhi, which were provided to the Southwest Tea Company and exchanged for foreign exchange through the Stilwell Highway exit known as the "Southwest International Passage" to replenish armaments. It also created the history of making Kung Fu black tea and stir-fried green tea in Guizhou.
The more stunning emerald tea highlights the spirit of Guizhou people who dare to innovate. This tea was developed in 2003 by Mu Yingshu and his son Mou Chunlin, a taidou of the Guizhou tea industry, boldly using one bud, two and three leaves of mature tea as raw materials, subverting the traditional famous green tea's tendency to love single buds, and its flavor substances are richer than ordinary green tea.
In less than 20 years, emeralds have become famous in the tea industry and have become one of the "three greens and one red" of Guizhou's famous teas. Academician Chen Zongmao, an expert in the tea industry, once highly praised the emerald, calling it "the inner quality is extremely superior", and Shen Peihe, chief review master of the Tea Research Institute of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences, also praised the emerald:

Light from the visual experience, the dried tea of the emerald is in the shape of a plate of flowers, the particles are compact, shaped like a gemstone; after brewing, the tea leaves are tender and fresh, the luster is bright, so it is called "emerald"; brewing a cup of emerald plateau green tea, the soup color is yellow and green, the leaf bottom is bright and soft, the taste is fresh and rich, and the aroma of young chestnut is charming.

Good tea often grows with famous mountains.
The first mountain in Guizhou is the first to push Tongren Fanjing Mountain. In Guizhou's vast karst landscape, the fanjing mountain peak with metamorphic rock as the main component is independent, guarding the surrounding ecological environment, and among the more than 4,300 kinds of plants it shelters, it also includes ancient tea trees that are more than 600 years old.
