This project selected the top ten public brand values in China's tea region in 2021.

10th, Montynese Camellia
Brand value: 4.099 billion yuan

Mengding camellia, also known as "Mengding tea" and "Mengshan tea", belongs to the green tea category.
Because it is produced in the top of Mengshan Mountain in the famous mountain area of Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, it is named "Mengding Mountain Tea", which is a collective name for various famous teas produced by Mengding Mountain.
"Mengshan tea" cultivation began in the Western Han Dynasty, with more than 2,000 years of tea cultivation history and rich cultural heritage, known as "Yangtze River water, Mengshan mountain top tea" reputation.
On July 20, 2020, the Council of the European Union included Mengshan tea in the second batch of 175 Chinese geographical indications list.
9th, Anhua Black Tea
Brand value: 4.132 billion yuan
Anhua black tea belongs to the black tea category, named after the anhua county produced in Yiyang City, Hunan, China.
Anhua black tea is made of large-leaf tea planted in the mountainous areas of Anhua Territory, and is processed into black hair tea by processing such as greening, kneading, wading, baking and drying, and refined with it as raw materials (including artificial post-fermentation and natural aging) into Anhua black tea series products.
On April 6, 2010, the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine approved the implementation of geographical indication product protection for "Anhua black tea".
On November 15, 2019, it was selected into the directory of Chinese agricultural brands.
8th place, Anji white tea
Brand value: 4.517 billion yuan
Anji white tea is a rising star of Zhejiang famous tea.
Although Anji white tea is named white tea, it is made of green tea processing technology and belongs to the green tea category.
Its white color is because the raw materials for processing are harvested from a tea tree with young leaves.
In April 2004, the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine officially approved "Anji White Tea" as a product of origin area protection (i.e. geographical indication protection product).
7th place, Da Fo Long Jing
Brand value: 4.774 billion yuan
Dafo Longjing is produced in Xinchang County, Zhejiang Province, the hometown of China's famous tea, and is mainly distributed in the alpine tea area above 400 meters above sea level.
The tea is finely processed from the young bud leaves of the pollution-free fine species in the county mountains, and belongs to the best tea in Longjing, Zhejiang.
Daflongjing is the main famous tea variety in Xinchang County, the three treasures of Chinese famous tea, and won the only gold medal of China Science and Technology Exposition in 1995.
In 2002, it was registered as the "Big Buddha" certification trademark of the State Trademark Office, which is a famous brand product of Zhejiang Province and a famous brand product of China International Agricultural Expo.
6th place, Dongting Mountain Biluochun
Brand value: 4.872 billion yuan
Biluochun is one of the top ten famous teas in China, produced in Dongting Mountain on the edge of Taihu Lake in Wu County, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, so it is also known as "Dongting Biluochun".
Biluo spring tea has a history of more than 1,000 years, and the local folk were first called Dongting tea, also known as frightening incense.
Because biluochun does not wear gloves when stir-frying, because of the ten fingers connected to the heart, it is also known as "heart tea" and "heart tea" by the locals.
Today, Biluochun's unique processing technology has been listed as a national intangible cultural heritage.
5th place, Fuding white tea
Brand value: 5.215 billion yuan
Fuding white tea, a specialty of Fuding City, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is a national geographical indication product of China.
Fuding white tea is produced from Fuding "Huacha No. 1" or "Huacha No. 2" tea plant buds, not fried, not kneaded, special process made, its shape buds are complete, the soup color apricot yellow clear, taste light, sweet and refreshing quality characteristics.
In June 2004, the former State Administration of Quality Supervision officially approved "Fuding White Tea" as a product of origin (i.e., a geographical indication protection product).
4th place, Xiaoxiang tea
Brand value: 6.783 billion yuan
Xiaoxiang tea is a regional public brand created by the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, and its brand connotation is: ecology, safety, organic and high quality.
Xiaoxiang tea is not only superior in natural quality, but also has safety and quality assurance, and has passed strict certifications of Chinese organic, EU organic, American organic, Japanese organic and so on.
The expert team led by Chen Zongmao, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, promoted the "new technology of green prevention and control of tea gardens" in Daxiangxi, which provided a strong technical guarantee for the organic cultivation of Xiaoxiang tea.
3rd place, Xinyang Maojian
Brand value: 7.108 billion yuan
Xinyang Maojian is one of the famous local specialties of Henan Province, which has always been known at home and abroad for its unique style and quality such as fine round light straight, multi-white, fragrant and high flavor, soup color and green.
In 1915, he won the gold medal with Guizhou Moutai at the Panama International Exposition, and in 1990, the Xinyang Maojian brand participated in the national appraisal and won the first place in the comprehensive quality of green tea, so Xinyang Maojian was known as the "King of Green Tea".
In 2007, at the China International Tea Industry Expo (Zhengzhou), Xinyang Maojian won the title of "Tea King" in one fell swoop, and on November 15, 2019, it was selected into the Directory of Chinese Agricultural Brands.
2nd place, Pu'er tea
Brand value: 7.352 billion yuan
Pu'er tea is native to the Lancang River basin of southern Yunnan and western Yunnan, with the fresh leaves of yunnan large-leaf tea plants as raw materials, and various compacted teas formed by steam pressing, which have evolved through storage and evolution over a certain period of time.
Or yunnan large-leaf tea sunning green hair tea as raw materials, after artificial fermentation and processing of Pu'er tight tea and Pu'er loose tea.
On May 13, 2008, the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine approved the implementation of geographical indication product protection for "Pu'er tea". On November 15, 2019, it was selected into the directory of Chinese agricultural brands.
1st place, West Lake Longjing
Brand value: 7.403 billion yuan
West Lake Longjing tea, named after the Longjing produced in the West Lake Mountains of Hangzhou, is customarily called West Lake Longjing, referred to as Longjing for short.
The specific production area is Shifeng, Longjing, Wuyun Mountain and Hupao in the West Lake of Hangzhou, Zhejiang, which has been divided into four categories in history: "lion, dragon, cloud and tiger".
West Lake Longjing is divided into primary production areas and secondary production areas, the first-level production area includes the traditional "lion (peak), dragon (well), cloud (habitat), tiger (running), mei (home dock)" five core production areas, secondary production area is in addition to the first-class production area outside the West Lake area of longjing.
The evaluation method of the public brand value of tea is "the government sets up the stage, and the enterprise sings the opera", which is more systematic and perfect than the single tea enterprise brand building.
