Jinan Duoquan, known as "Spring City". I have been doing things in my hometown for a long time since I was a child, and when I rarely go out, I want to say that the place I have been out the most is Quancheng, about thirty times. I went to Quancheng to do things, only once was idle, and I couldn't visit Quan specifically. The springs I have seen are only seven or eight if I do not count the springs of Baotu Spring. Most of the good impressions of the spring of Quancheng are derived from books, and Mr. Lao, Zhitang, Lao She, and Zhang Zhongxing have all visited Quancheng. Reading a book written by a foreigner a few days ago expanded my understanding of the beauty of Quancheng, from the "first" in China to the "first in the world".

This foreigner was a good friend of Mr. Lu Xun, and the last text message he wrote the day before his death was given to him, and many people know it when he said this--it is Uchiyama. Mr. Uchiyama Wrote a book called "The Record of HuaJia", I bought this book, originally wanted to see the interaction between the two of them and the social life of China at that time, in fact, there is not much written about Mr. Lu Xun in the book, but I accidentally saw things about jinan, the capital of his hometown, and of course could not do without Quan. I was very happy to see this, and by the way, I checked the information of Mr. Uchiyama and Jinan on the Internet, but I did not find it. A few months have passed, I sorted out the books and saw the "Flower Armor Record" and thought about it again, and I still didn't see anyone mentioning it on the Internet, maybe this matter has been included in the books about Quancheng, but it has not been disseminated on the Internet.

Lu Xun and Uchiyama were completed

According to Mr. Uchiyama in the Hana Koji, in 1942 (Showa XVII) "on my way back from Tokyo, I decided to take a detour and take the route of Korea, Beijing, Jinan, and Nanjing." Traveling south from Beijing, "arrived in Jinan the next day." Thanks to the personal greeting of the secretary general of the Tangxi Merchants' Union, I stayed overnight at the clubhouse. During this time, he also did a rambling talk and was able to visit various scenic spots. Jinan, as the 'water capital', is the first in China: not only is Baotu Spring and Black Tiger Spring the first in the world, but the clarity of daming lake water is not seen in Japan. The water of the Yachuan River is incomparable with the water of Jinan, and it is simply the water of the water. The so-called 'world's first spring' is none other than Jinan, and the drinking water of half a million people comes from this natural water, which is really incredible. Mr. Uchiyama has been to many places in China, and in the book he regards Jinan as the "water capital", as "China's first", baotu spring and black tiger spring as "the first product in the world", and when it comes to the clarity of the water of Daming Lake, comparing the water of Jinan with the Duck River in his hometown of Kyoto, he directly calls out "the 'first spring in the world' is not Jinan's", which must have its opinion.

When I first visited Baotu Spring, I saw that there were two stone tablets next to the Guanlan Pavilion of the Spring Pond, the south was "Baotu Spring" and the north was "First Spring", so why didn't I add the word "Tianxia" to the "First Spring"? Yes, no addition, this is everyone's style! Nowadays, there are many people who claim to be "the first in the world", and most of them are self-proclaimed deceptive words that cannot withstand scrutiny. This "first spring" is well-deserved in Quancheng, but what about in China and in the world? Just as the spring of Jinan is not beautiful, let the people of the world comment on it. No, Mr. Uchiyama expressed his opinion, but he came from the heart, neither seeking fame nor profit, without any prejudice.

Mr. Uchiyama goes on to say in the book: "Baotu Spring 'grunts, grunts' in the spring pool and gushes upwards with a large column of water about three feet in diameter, which is not spectacular! Black Tiger Spring is lined up with three tiger heads, and the spring water gushes out of the mouth of each tiger head, which is second only to Baotu Spring in scale. When he talked about water two years later, he once again recalled the spring water in Jinan: "Japan is known for its green mountains and beautiful waters, and there are indeed many clear rivers (in fact, China's summer is different from winter, and there is no shortage of clear springs that are rare even in Japan, such as Baotu Spring and Black Tiger Spring in Jinan Province, Shandong Province). It can be seen that Mr. Uchiyama is deeply impressed by the spring water in Jinan.

Baotu Spring in the 1940s

The spring of the spring city has been famous in the world since ancient times. In the Song Dynasty, when Zeng Gong was in Jinan as the Governor of Qi Prefecture, he said: "Qiduo Ganquan is crowned in the world." Yu Qin of the Yuan Dynasty said: "Jinan landscape Jia Qilu, QuanJia tianxia." There are one and two springs in Gaita County, and this alone is in the hundreds. Tao spray beads leaping, golden lightning and blue water, rhyme and taste delicious, not bad taste. At that time, the so-called "tianxia" was mostly about the small world, such as the Tang Dynasty was the Li family world, the Song Dynasty was the Zhao family world, which means the land of China, and the "world" said by Mr. Uchiyama is the big world, that is, the meaning of the whole world today.

Yu Qin said in the "Qi Cheng" that there were springs in Jinan "in hundreds", and he also recorded the seventy-two springs recorded in the "Famous Spring Stele" of Jinan in the Jin Dynasty. Mr. Yu has some opinions on the "Mingquan Monument" recorded the spring: "However, as far as the Middle Palace and the Lingyan Springs, and the HuaQuan of Hua Bu and the Pure Ming Spring of Mingshui Town, they are all lost, and their names are not very elegant, and the cover is a remnant of the golden custom pen." Mr. Yu's statement is reasonable, as the "Famous Spring Monument" lost the local famous spring should not be. Qing Daoguang's "Chronicle of Jinan Province" records that from the beginning of Baotu Spring to the end of the seventy-three springs, there are as many as 150 springs in Jinan, each with its own name. Why are the seventy-two springs in Jinan still said today? Perhaps it is the meaning of "three thousand disciples of Confucius, seventy-two sages", and the most famous one.

What was Baotu Spring like in the 1940s? Japanese friend Mr. Uchiyama Kanzoku sees Izumi Castle

I have seen the Baotu Spring and the Black Tiger Spring mentioned by Mr. Uchiyama. At the beginning of the 1980s, when I arrived in Quancheng, I spent money with a colleague in front of Shuyu Spring to take a photo; and a few years later, a few of us had dinner and drink on the high platform by the Black Tiger Spring, enjoying the night in Quancheng, and I still think it is a pleasure. A few years ago, I also saw some springs in Quancheng that only had the name of the stone spring, and I sighed because there was nothing to appreciate. Three years ago, I rode my bicycle through Quancheng, although I stayed for two nights, it was still too late to interview the springs, but the Shuangzhongquan I met in an alley was very different from what I saw in previous years, and there was a considerable "spring culture". The springs of Izumi Castle left an extremely good impression on Mr. Uchiyama, and now these springs can be viewed again!

Recently, the water level of Baotu Spring hit the highest level in 56 years (Qilu Evening News, Qilu One Point reporter Zhou Qingxian photo)

At the time of writing this small article, I happened to see in the Qilu Evening News that all the seventy-two springs in Jinan have recently gushed out, and the water level of Baotu Spring has reached the highest level in 56 years, which is really great news, and if Mr. Uchiyama hears about it in heaven, I think he will be happy for it.
