Mao Heting's poems, lyrics and songs are all profound and occupy an important position in the history of modern literature. In his later years, he mainly engaged in the study of song theory, and authored "Guilt Zhai Miscellaneous Drama Character Examination", "Four Voices Hook Shen", "Pouring Cup Examination", "Guilt Zhai Word Theory" and "Song Qu Chapters and Sentences". In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, he had dinner with Mao Zedong in Zhongnanhai, and the two of them talked about the study of poetry, the liberation of the word style, and the breaking of the prohibition of words that needed to keep four voices, which aroused Mao Zedong's great interest. Before leaving, he also gave Mao Zedong the gift that "the Communist Party is a lion, and it is forbidden to be lice by itself", which shows that he is very arrogant. I heard that Mao Heting was still a big lucky person, because the leaders who were particularly generous to suppress intellectuals did not give the "rightist" hat to the Mao clan; however, it is also said that he finally had to take the hat, but it was a little later. In any case, this matter is not the content of this article, so I will not delve into it.
Mao Heting maintained close contact with celebrities from all walks of life, and had direct contacts with hundreds of celebrities in his lifetime, including friends from all walks of life in the political, economic and cultural circles of the late Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China and New China. He attached great importance to the paintings of "Three Wu And One Feng" and "Four Houses on the Sea", and once wrote a poem for Feng Chaoran: "Songyang Erlao's door residence, one is Nantian Yiliuru. No wonder it is ten years late to write, and it is necessary to fight for eternity without being ashamed. Shen Zhao left the inscription ink undried, and Shi Lin Somi was Chang'an. Everything in the world can be said, only the picture is still observed. In front of the Yicheng Ping Tianbao, the Xuannan Yin Society scattered like smoke. The old man tried to find Qian Congfu, counting fifty strings. At the end of the painting, the inscription is a few lines, and the theory of origin is painted into a subtlety. Later generations do not need to rap more, and the ancestors finally push sheng xiaozhang. At the beginning of this poem of peak circuit turning and layer by layer, Wu Hufan and Feng Chaoran are praised as Yun Nantian and Tang Liuru respectively. Feng Chaoran and Wu Hufan often asked The Mao for poetry and music, and often painted for the Mao clan, such as Wu Hufan's painting of the "Water Painting Garden" book. Similarly, the calligraphy and painting works of Wu Hufan and Feng Chaoran can often be seen in the inscription of Mao Heting, and the collection also contains pen and ink left by Mao. They sang with each other, very harmonious, Wu Hufan often asked Mao Heting to write songs, and The Mao clan did not allow it. For example, in 1937, When Mao shi went from Guangdong to Shanghai, he felt slightly uncomfortable, Wu Hufan did not know it at all, and still asked for a set of northern songs of "Seven Ji Zhi", and later saw that Mao's book Xiao Kai's hand trembled slightly, and after knowing it, Wu Hufan was uneasy, but Mao was happy to do so.

In 1954, on the 82nd birthday of Mao Heting, Wu Hufan, Feng Chaoran and Feng Chaoran's student Zheng Mukang painted paintings for Mao to celebrate his birthday. The portrait of The Mo clan painted by Zheng Mukang, who is unparalleled on the sea, is quite delicately depicted, as if it is a reproduction of the legendary photograph of the Mo clan. Zheng Mukang also supplemented the deer for it, Feng Chaoran supplemented the stone wall slope grass, Wu Hufan supplemented the pine cypress spring stone, the painting of the crane pavilion deer sitting upright, hand leaning on the mountain stone, looking at ease, after the pine cypress rock, the mountain spring, a clear and quiet scene. Feng Chaoran inscribed a painting: "Deer Taming Rock Pan as Tong Fu, this Qing Gaozong and Qian Wenrui Sentence Also, Mr. Guilt Zhai resigned, this year re-endowed Lu Ming on his eightieth birthday, write this to wish, and also remember the grand event." Wu Hufan filled in the words "HuanXi Sha": "Crane top Zhu Yan old boy, crane singing good story to fight for Yan." There are gods and immortals in the Sanwu Pavilion. Zhou Jia re-overturned the dragon and tiger list, and Fu Ding should be pan filial piety and honest ship. Born in the spring full moon Chan Juan. And the title is "Guilt Zhang Shuang Qing". This collection of celebrities with the brushes of Feng Chaoran, Wu Hufan, and Zheng Mukang is very rare. In 1988, Mao Guangsheng's grandsons Mao Huaisu and Mao Huaixin edited the "Annals of Mr. Mao Heting", published by Xuelin Publishing House, which specifically recorded the conception process and creative background of this picture. This map can be regarded as a historical relic, which is now collected by the Jiangsu Cultural Relics Store.
Zheng Mukang
There is a small episode in the story of Mao Heting's acquaintance with and even deep friendship with Wu Hufan, which can be called quite dramatic. When The Mao family visited the Suzhou painter Gu Heyi, he saw that Gu Shi was very concerned about a young man in the seat, so he asked who this person was, and was told that it was Wu Hufan, the grandson of Wu Shuzai. Gu and Mao said that although Wu Hufan was only weak in his year, his brush was extremely superb, and after thirty years, he could be the first hand in three hundred years. At that time, Mao did not talk to Wu, but was deeply impressed by the matter. In order to confirm whether Gu Heyi's prophecy was correct or not, he recorded the matter in his diary and added a special epigraph: "The book is based on whether Heyi's words are correct." "With the increase in contact with the collection of paintings and calligraphy and other matters, the two sides of Mao Heting and Wu Hufan have become friends. On the day of Wu Hufan's fiftieth birthday, he took the opportunity to use this diary to show Wu Yue: "Now that he belongs to the king, Heyi's words are not false." Wu Hufan read the diary, and when he saw Gu's words from that year, he looked at Mao Heting happily and laughed.
