Takarazuka aura is extinct! Top male servant Miki Maya appeared at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, showcasing carpentry culture

At the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympic Games, The japanese Takarazuka Opera Company Hanamizumoto male actor (top female male actor) Maya Miki appeared as the leader of the lumberjacks, which really made the audience shine, shouting "This is the Takarazuka aura!" ”

The performance showcases the labor song "Logging Song" handed down from the Edo period, and also shows an Edo known for its abundant wood. Miki Maya appears with world-class tap dancer Kazutoku Kumagaya. As the head carpenter, Masaya gave orders, and the carpenters began to work. With the sound of hammers and saws entering the rhythm, more and more tap dancers and acrobats gathered in the center of the stage to form a gorgeous group dance.

Towards the end of the carpentry performance, the trolley was loaded with five wooden rings to the center of the stage, each with a diameter of 4 meters, and the wooden structure of the five Olympic rings adopted the style of the traditional Japanese "mosaic" process. A random color scheme is formed by the natural mottled feeling of the wood.

It is worth mentioning that the wooden ring is made of special wood. During the 18th Summer Olympics in Tokyo in 1964, athletes brought tree species from all over the world. Today, 57 years later, these seeds have grown into trees that were used to build multiple venues for the Tokyo Olympics, as well as the wooden Olympic rings seen at the opening ceremony, symbolizing the connection between the 1964 and 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
