"Mustard Garden" is the name of the mansion of Shen Xinyou, the son-in-law of the famous scribe Li Yu in the early Qing Dynasty (also known as "Mustard Garden" as Li Yu's mansion), and the legend is said to have been commissioned by Shen Xinyou. The illustrator was the local landscape painter Wang Wei, and was assisted by two brothers, Wang Ying and Wang Wei.
