However, this situation is generally for the eldest son, or the queen to give birth. At that time, Emperor Taiji had just taken over the imperial power, and internal and external troubles were also unbearable. Especially when he had just taken office, many ministers were still wavering between him and Dorgon, which increased the workload of the Emperor Taiji.
Therefore, at this time, the Emperor Taiji was often worried and uncertain. Fortunately, Hai Lanzhu did not know how to compete for favors like other concubines, she was sincere in her treatment of Huang Taiji.
When the emperor was working, she never bothered. When the emperor was bored, she was carefully waiting by her side. When the emperor was happy, she shared the joy together. It can be said that Concubine Chen's considerate and meticulous care and tender water-like love make up for the lack of Huang Taiji's soul.
So such an understanding, gentle and considerate woman, how can Huang Taiji not love? But that's only one aspect of what she's done.

As we all know, in ancient times, concubines who were favored were generally pampered and proud. For example, Lady Qi of the Western Han Dynasty, Wan Guifei of the Ming Dynasty, Yin Defei of the early Tang Dynasty, and so on.
But this concubine was different, she never used the emperor's favor as a superior chip. On the contrary, she not only helped her sister to assist in the sixth palace, but also was good at resolving the contradictions in the harem, and even if some concubines made mistakes, she also covered from them.
