Emperor Gaozong of Song was distraught and had the idea of abdicating, and in the negotiations, the relationship between the Jin and Song dynasties would become an "uncle-nephew" relationship, and Zhao Shuo, who was already in his fifties, would call Jin Shizong, who was in his thirties, his uncle. This was unbearable, so he abdicated with an iron heart. On the grounds of "tired diligence", the throne was passed on to his adopted son Zhao Xuan for Emperor Xiaozong of Song.
He no longer has to worry about tedious political affairs, and is at ease to be the emperor. Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty did not know that Zhao Shuo, who no longer moved bricks, lived a very comfortable life and spent twenty-five years unconsciously.
On November 9, 1187, Zhao Zhuo died at the age of 81.
