On October 22nd, the "2021 Wusongkou Forum" with the theme of "Rising Tides and Three Rivers, Three Tours of Cohesion" was held in the outdoor space of Terminal 1 of Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Port. At the forum, the "Shanghai International Cruise Tourism Resort Master Plan" was officially released, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and Baoshan District signed the "Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on Empowering the Yangtze River Gateway to Help Baoshan Transform", and a number of enterprises signed cooperation agreements.
At the scene of the event, the Cruise Ship Yacht Branch of the China Tourist Vehicle and Boat Association was inaugurated, and the brand of "Wusongkou Forum" was released to the public. Under the guidance of the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Baoshan District compiled the "Shanghai International Cruise Tourism Resort Master Plan" and officially released it at the forum.
During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Baoshan will give full play to the resource advantages of "the mouth of the Yangtze River and the 100-year-old Wusongkou", based on the location advantages of the confluence of the rivers and the sea and the confluence of the three rivers, integrate the linkage development of surrounding resources, strengthen urban planning and design, scientifically optimize the function and layout, accelerate the implementation of a number of key projects, and create a national waterfront tourist resort characterized by cruise ships, cruise ships, yachts and other "three tours" formats, with the theme of "three tour holidays", with perfect facilities and complete supporting facilities. It has become a unique aquatic consumption agglomeration area in Shanghai International Consumption Center.
It is reported that the total planned area of Shanghai International Cruise Tourism Resort is about 12.48 square kilometers, 2.98 square kilometers to be developed, involving 13.5 kilometers of shoreline. The plan forms a functional layout of "four ports and one heart, two belts and three parks, and five major groups", namely the international cruise terminal, the offshore cruise ship terminal, the "one river and one river" sightseeing pier, and the sailing yacht pier; one cruise tourism center area; the leisure tourism belt in the north Of the Yangtze River Estuary, the Wusongkou Cultural Experience Belt in the south; the three theme tourism parks of the Yangtze River Estuary Cultural Park, the Guntai Wetland Park, and the Centennial Military Port Expo Park; the Wusong Memory Service Group, the Tanghou Old Street Service Group, and the Fashion Long Beach Service Group.
