On August 22, 2021, workers at the construction site of Zhangshang Expressway in Badaogou Town, Shangyi County, Hebei Province, carried out oil laying operations. The Zhangshang Expressway is about 73 kilometers long and is located in the northern part of Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, from Zhangbei County in the east, connected with the Zhangshi Expressway, and to the West to the Ji-Mongolia Boundary, connecting with the Inner Mongolia Zhunxing Expressway. This line will further improve the layout of Hebei's expressway network and regional highway network, which is of great significance for strengthening the economic linkage between Inner Mongolia and Hebei. At present, more than 90% of the important projects such as pavement foundations, bridges, culverts, and layer oil laying in the high-speed project have been completed.
