Wen Wei, a famous artist of contemporary Chinese ink painting, has a high degree of achievement in freehand landscapes, ladies and calligraphy, and is considered by art critics to be one of the most promising young artists in the future. He is currently the Secretary-General of the Institute of Chinese Painting of the Forbidden City College, and is employed as an adjunct professor at Nankai University and Tianjin University. His works have repeatedly achieved good results in domestic auctions such as Beijing Hanhai, Beijing Poly, Hong Kong Poly, Xiling Auction, Jiangsu Phoenix Auction and so on. In 2014, at the invitation of the Chinese Cultural Development Art Promotion Association, it began to hold the "Wenxin Weiran - Wenwei Calligraphy and Painting Art Exhibition" touring exhibition in the whole country, which has been successfully held in Beijing, Tianjin, Hangzhou (seven times), Wuxi, Yinchuan, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other places, and has been widely praised.

This exhibition presents 57 of Wen Wei's masterpieces, reflecting the artist's artistic thinking over the years: whether it is his representative huge landscapes, or the magnificent wild cursive calligraphy, or the beautiful lines and brush strokes of the female paintings, it is refreshing.

The audience lingered in front of Wen Wei's works one by one, looking at his landscape works, the pen was clear and clear, full of ancient meaning, and the pen was simple and far away. Among them, the masterpiece created in 2021, "The Frost of the Heavens of the Narrow River", was inspired by Chairman Mao's poem "Picking Mulberries and Chongyang". Wen Wei's emotional attention shows the heroic nature of Chinese communists who are never afraid of difficulties, who face difficulties and who are indomitable.

Wen Wei's female figure is deeply rooted in the traditional pen and ink charm, the lines are refreshing, the spirit is remarkable, fresh and elegant, and the meaning is long.

It is reported that the exhibition will last until September 15.
