The resentment of the letter writer is not surprising to Chiang Kai-shek. Because all this was caused by him. But to his surprise, this was the last time in his life that he would receive a letter from this man on the other side of the Strait, because on February 21 of that year, this man left Chiang Kai-shek forever. Separated from 1949, it was really dead and alive.
The letter writer was Chiang Kai-shek's third woman, Chen Jieru. Shortly after the letter was sent, on February 21, she died alone in her apartment at the age of 65. 4 years later, the only man she has loved, hated, and remembered in her life has also bid farewell to the world. Love at first sight
Chen Jieru was born in 1905 in a small merchant family, with her ancestral home in Ningbo, Zhejiang, and lived in Shanghai since childhood. Since ancient times, amorous and empty hate
