The origin of the name of Changjiang County is due to the ancient yi of "Changhua". The origin of the name of Guyi is said to come from Su Dongpo personally wrote the inscription "Junwang Temple", because there is a stone in Junwangling that is named "Junwang" as a god, and this ridge is also called "ChanghuaLing", so it got the name of the county.
Junwang is the honorific title of the official family, in fact, the people will shelter the sea god who goes to sea on both sides of the Changhua River, and has always stood the "Changhua Laoye" temple, also known as the "Changhua Great God". This temple, for thousands of years, the faithful involved in Danzhou, Lingao, Haikou area, to this day, there are temples on both sides of the Qiongzhou Strait to worship.
Is the name of Changhua Guyi really derived from the Changhua Daling and the Changhua River under the Lingxia? And who gave the name of this mountain and river? This period of history is relatively long, and it is very long to say, so I will briefly tell it, and the name comes from the handiwork of Wang Anshi, the prime minister of the Northern Song Dynasty.
According to historical records, in the sixth year (1073) of the Northern Song Dynasty, the Northern Song Dynasty changed the Danzhou Zhichanghua Army to Yilun County (present-day Danzhou City, Hainan Province, northwest of jiudan county). Its jurisdiction covers the cities and counties of Danzhou, Dongfang, Changjiang, and Baisha in present-day Hainan Province. The Southern Song Dynasty Shaoxing was abolished in the fifth year (1135), restored in fourteen years, and changed to the Nanning Army in the second year of Duanping (1235).
Xi Ning is the era name of the Northern Song Dynasty, from 1068 to 1077 AD, a total of ten years, it was Wang Anshi to implement the great reform period, naturally offended many powerful ministers, did not expect to make Vietnam (the king of Fan) dissatisfied, so he sent 60,000 troops to attack the Song, which is the famous "Annam" battle.
Shi Zai, the King of Yue sent troops to write: "Now I heard that the Lord of Song was faint and did not follow the holy model; listened to An Shi's greedy and evil plan, and acted as a branch for the young seedlings to assist in the service, so that the people could anoint the land with grease and enrich themselves." At the behest of the king, he shall go north, in order to clear the waves of evil." It seems that the new policy of the prime minister is the reason for the war.
The Vietnamese attacked a number of prefectures and counties in southern Guangxi, while also pointing their swords at the danzhou waters adjacent to the Beibu Bay. Of course, the rebellion was suppressed a year later. The imperial court felt that it was a strategic place in the west of the island across the sea from Annam, so it began to rectify the situation, implement the education of "wanghua", and was ordered by Wang Zaixiang to change Danzhou to "Changhua Army" and integrate administration and military. "Changhua" means great grace, the original meaning of breeding. The imperial court hoped that this foreign land would become a "prosperous" place.
This is also the origin of the name "Changhua" becoming the name of mountains and rivers, which is also the reason why twenty years later, Su Dongpo, Fold yanqian (general), Li Guang and other famous ministers exiled to the west of the island, making Danzhou the earliest place for Hainan's "Wanghua" education.
Only later, in the third year of the Republic of China (1914), Changhua County was renamed Changjiang County, which had the same name as Changhua County in Zhejiang Province.

Regarding the name of Changhua, the Southern Song Dynasty "Minutes of Fang Public Opinion" is the earliest recorded historical record. Volume 105 Changhua County:
Changjiang is in the "county (rule of present-day Changcheng Town) south of ten miles. Originating from wuzhi mountain, the northwest flow of the Qunchuan river, to the southeast of the county Hou village, divided into two streams: the south of the river flows west, through chikan village and south out, will be the sea tide into a port, a Nanya River, also known as Sanjia Port; The North River flows north, around the south of the county, and then flows west to Nipu, where it meets the tide to form a port, a north port, and merges into the sea."
However, according to the general history, as early as the third year of the Sui Dynasty (607), when the Sui Dynasty changed the name of YaZhou to Zhuya County, it also analyzed the southwest and placed Linzhen County, and at the same time, the three counties of Yilun, Changhua and Ji'an were separated from the location of Hanzhilai County (the earliest county name of Changjiang), and Changhua and Ji'an were located in the territory of the current Changjiang County. Therefore, the name Changhua originated from the Sui and Tang dynasties.
Whether it is Changhua County in the Sui and Tang Dynasties or the Changhua Army in the Northern Song Dynasty, both sides of the Changhua River are the ancient yi where Confucian culture first soaked Hainan. Therefore, the Changjiang River in Shanhai Li Township is actually different from the eastern Minnan ethnic group, and it is also the migration place of the Confucian officials who cultivated and read heirlooms after the earliest "return to the land" Sinicization. Many of the ancestors of Qianqiong served in Changhuayi.
For example: Zheng Zhihao, the ancestor of Hainan Zheng surname Qianqiong, was enlisted as a jinshi and the first in the third year (1197) of emperor Qingyuan of the Southern Song Dynasty, and after 4 years of service, he was attributed to the war in the north and settled in Baishafang, Haikou, Zheng Zhihao and his son Zheng Meiqi and grandson Zheng Zhenfu all dengjinshike, within one door, the three grandchildren were all jinshi, and there was no other in the history of Hainan Keju. In particular, Zheng Zhenfu, who won the first place in the township examination, was called "Xie Yuan" at the time, and was later hand-picked by the emperor as Tanhualang. At the Zheng Ancestral Hall in the Baishafang community, a couplet on the gate came into view: "Tanhua Blossom Jiadi, Yiye Shao Zongfeng", the Zheng clan, became a famous and prestigious family.

From a humanistic point of view, Changjiang: it is the slash-and-burn cultivation of the Jili people, the marine fishing of the Heli family, and the cultivation and reading heirloom spirit of the Confucian farming culture in the Central Plains, and the three are one, and a relatively complete cultural and ecological source is preserved in Hainan. A few days ago, I also specially asked local fans of Changjiang, be sure to take the old county village on the banks of the Changhua River, which is the second largest river in Hainan, as the center, and the top ten surnames in the countryside with a radius of twenty kilometers on both sides of the river.
Therefore, I personally feel that the current positioning of the Changjiang government as "Shanhai Lixiang" is a little biased. With the Li culture as the center, but his Sai and Ha Li Wang went to the countryside, it is not as good as the Li Yu centered on the five-fingered landscape and water, and the marine culture with the Junwang Temple as the sea god's outlet to the sea of Changhua Town has always been ignored, and has not refined the charm of the People's Charm of the Changhua River Valley to the Lyang of Vietnam. The Confucian civilization on both sides of the Changhua River, represented by the descendants of The Southern Song Dynasty and Wen Tianxiang, the ancestral surname culture of the three villages and four more townships, has not been built into a beautiful village. There are several jinshi on both sides of the Changhua River, and how many people and gongsheng are raised? No one does the popularity survey. Confucian spirits such as the tomb of the ancestor of the Wen clan, the tomb of Zhao Ding's Yiguan, and the tomb of a jinshi Fu Qi, a student of the Dongpo brothers in the history of Hainan, have not been excavated. Relying only on a few rows of kapok, it is difficult to support the humanistic history of Changjiang!
This may be the current cultural background of Changjiang's development, and it is also an opportunity for future leaps!
"Changhua" has become an important branch of Hainan culture, as a cultural symbol, it is not limited to Changjiang County. It should be the second largest river in Hainan, an important area where the nomadic lifestyle of the Li people, which is jointly bred from the basin on both sides of the Changhua River under the Bawangling Ridge, is combined with the marine fishing civilization of the Yanjia family and the cultural farming civilization of the Qianqiong Confucian official. Or return to the positioning of the ancient imperial court: Shanhai Lixiang, huawai "Shengchang"!
