Tong Zirong: When I was born, she was already a party member

Last week, I was invited to an event held next door to the studio to congratulate Tian Hua on his 80th anniversary of revolutionary literary and artistic work.

Teacher Tian Hua is undoubtedly an old actor that I admire. And first of all, she was an old revolutionary, an old party member. The eight big characters of "always be a good daughter of the party" on the big red background of the venue are shining brightly and heartwarming.

In 1944, the year I was born in a pavilion in Shanghai, Teacher Tian Hua was already a glorious Communist Party member! During the war years, revolutionaries braved the hail of bullets and bullets and were born into death. I remember that a few years ago, I published an article in the evening newspaper titled "The Mystery of Teacher Tian Hua's Immortality." I admired her for being a great old revolutionary, an old revolutionary who never considered herself a hero, and who honestly considered herself a "survivor." She saw the founding of New China and the earth-shaking changes that took place in all aspects of the motherland, but she never forgot her original intention when she joined the revolution, and she never forgot the many comrades-in-arms who fell around her —they did not see the day when New China was born. Therefore, Teacher Tian Hua consciously shouldered two missions: one was his mission to continue the revolution; the other was to continue to complete the mission that his deceased comrades-in-arms had time to complete in the future.

The organizer of the conference specially urged me to say a few words before Tian Hua performed. I replied, "Don't care, I can't help but talk about my testimonials." "My speech that day, without a script, was improvised, which was definitely a test for me as an introvert, but I thought I was speaking fluently. I have repeatedly said that in today's literary and art circles, it is extremely necessary to promote the dual happiness of virtue and art. There is no doubt that Teacher Tian Hua has a good career (we all grew up watching her play the "white-haired girl" and "daughter of the party"), and she has a better character. She always demands herself by the standards of party members, thinks little by little for the sake of the country and the people, is a good example for us to learn from, and is a banner of uprightness, innocence, and cleanliness that has been erected in the literary and art circles.

My testimonials should have ended here, and I was going to perform the show, but I was excited, so I threw out the ideas that had been in my head many times. I want to pour out my heart in front of Teacher Tian Hua, who is sitting in the center of the first row. I recalled a small detail that Teacher Tian Hua was not aware of. One time I went back to Beijing for an event and happened to board an elevator with her. I said something to my peers, and I listened to Teacher Tian Hua almost say to himself: "Zorro" is talking. The words were soft, but I listened to every word, and my heart couldn't help but heat up. Yes, Teacher Tian Hua is also a common person and a loyal fan of our translation factory. Her natural words brought us very close. It is these warm-hearted friends who have achieved the glory of our translation factory. Ordinary people and old comrades are so good to us voice actors, I can never forget.

Solemnly looking at the eight big characters behind me -- "Always be a good daughter of the party", I turned around and said emotionally: "Teacher Tian Hua is really worthy of being a good daughter of the party and worthy of being an admirable old revolutionary." Thinking of myself, I am ashamed that I am not a party member. But after many years of cultivation and education by the Party, I believe that only the Communist Party can save China. I believe that as long as we listen to the party and follow the party, there will be no insurmountable difficulties in front of us, and we will certainly realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Speaking of this, there was a warm applause from the audience. I think it is not that my speech is so remarkable, but that these few words express the common sentiment of everyone.

Thank you to my friends from Beijing for giving me such an opportunity to see Master Tian Hua and feel her noble spirit. In 2015, for his "Return of the Great Sage", he won the Outstanding Contribution Award for The Hero Behind the Scenes, which was also awarded to me by a friend in Beijing. Of course, many behind-the-scenes workers who are silent like old scalpers do not care what awards you give or what activities you engage in, but in the end, it is a sign of respect and attention. To celebrate the party's centennial birthday and study the history of the party, it is necessary to implement practical things for the masses. Naturally, I am most concerned about the revitalization of our translation factory. This is the common cause of all of us, especially the attention and support of the upper and lower levels, especially the relevant competent departments!
