Shi Liang (March 27, 1900 – September 6, 1985), a native of Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, was a contemporary Chinese jurist, politician, and pioneer of the feminist movement. He was arrested and imprisoned for participating in and leading the Anti-Japanese Salvation Movement, and was one of the "Seven Gentlemen" of China; during the new China period, he served as the first minister of the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China, the vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and the vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. The first female minister in Chinese history.
