On the morning of October 20, Huang Zhigang, secretary of the party leading group and president of the Xintian County People's Court, made a five-year work report to the first session of the 18th People's Congress of Xintian County, submitted it to the conference for deliberation, and invited the participants to put forward their opinions.
The report reviews and summarizes the five-year work from five aspects, such as serving the overall situation of development, practicing justice for the people, implementing the reform of the judicial system, casting an iron army of courts, and conserving judicial ecology. In the past five years, the Xintian court has adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, conscientiously implemented the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Party and the 19th Plenary Sessions, served the overall situation, performed its duties according to law, bravely competed for the lead, and promoted new progress in trial and enforcement.
In the past five years, the court has accepted a total of 17,769 cases of various types, concluded 17,325 cases, with a case closure rate of 97.5%, a case closure rate of 100% within the trial limit, and resolved more than 1.7 billion yuan in litigation subjects, making positive efforts for the stable and rapid development of Xintian's economy and society. He has won 3 national-level collective honors such as "National Excellent Court", 10 provincial-level collective honors such as "Hunan Provincial Civilized Pacesetter Unit", 18 municipal-level collective honors such as "Excellent Grass-roots Courts in the City", and 164 individual cadres and police officers have received commendations at or above the municipal level.
In the next step, the Xintian court will continue to unswervingly take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guide, thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, adhere to serving the overall situation, judicial service for the people, fair justice, implement the "4441" strategy, continuously deepen political construction, team building, ability construction and mechanism construction, strengthen work style, clear rules, ensure enforcement, strict accountability, form a working atmosphere of "catching up with learning", and strive to escort the high-quality economic and social development of Xintian.
