The deepest trenches are surprised to see mysterious new species! The body is full of plastic particles

The Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean is the deepest trench in the world, and its sea level depth is even greater than the height of Mount Everest. In such a mysterious sea, a completely new species was discovered, and after research, it was found that its body was full of plastic particles. It can be seen that the scourge of plastic has seriously polluted the earth's ecology, and even the depths of the ocean have suffered from it.

According to comprehensive foreign media reports, the research team of Newcastle University in the United Kingdom found new species nearly 7 kilometers below sea level and collected 4 animals to bring back for research analysis.

Unexpectedly, the research team found plastic fibers in one of them, which is similar to the plastic bottle material "polyethylene terephthalate (PET)" as high as 60%, so the new species was named "plastic hook shrimp".

Wesp, director of the German Ocean Programme at the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), stressed that this astonishing discovery proves that "waste plastic" has seriously polluted the oceans, and although the material has become small particles, it is still filled with air and drinking water.

The study, published in Zootaxa, a scientific journal of animal taxonomy, warns people that immediate action should be taken to stop injuries from continuing.
