NBC has announced the renewal of "The Blacklist", and the core cast including James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff and Harry Lennix have confirmed their return to the new season.
The official statement reads: "Congratulations to our wonderful producers, actors and behind-the-scenes staff, thank you for continuing to give your best and making "The List of Crimes" one of NBC's featured dramas."
In the latest season 6, Red was sentenced to death for fighting over charges against him, and his escape plan ended in failure. Now that the renewal of the new season is in place, it can be predicted that the final execution will not go as planned.
The show currently averages at 0.6/4 million, up only to "Blindspot" and the cancelled "Midnight, Texas."
