A few days ago, the real car picture of the new Nissan Magnite VISIA was exposed. The car belongs to the entry-level model of the MAGNITE series, and the price in the overseas market is 599,400 India rupees, about 50,000 yuan. For comparison, the new MAGNITE top-of-the-line TEKNA+ is priced at 910,000 India rupees, or about 76,000 yuan.
AS THE LOWEST-SPEC VARIANT IN THE RANGE, THE NEW MAGNITE VISIA DOES AWAY WITH SOME OF THE EXTERIOR SILVER DETAILS COMPARED TO THE MID- AND HIGH-SPEC MODELS, INCLUDING SILVER TRIM IN THE FRONT/REAR BUMPER AND SIDE SKIRT AREAS, AND ELIMINATES THE FRONT FOG LAMPS, AND COMES STANDARD WITH 16-INCH STEEL RIMS. However, the car still offers roof rack rails and chrome door handles.
In terms of interior, the new Magnite VISIA has been adjusted mainly in terms of interior color and materials compared to the mid- and high-spec models, and the two-tone interior and leather wrapping in the seats, center console, and door panels have been eliminated. The configuration part cancels the central control screen, and the original central control screen area is filled with black trim and is not designed as a storage slot. In addition, the car has eliminated the multi-function steering wheel, one-button start, and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, but it is still equipped with power windows and rear center armrests.
1.0T three-cylinder engine
The new MAGNITE VISIA is powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine with a maximum power of 53 kW and is available in a five-speed manual or EZ-Shift (AMT) transmission. STARTING WITH THE MID-SPEC VARIANT, THE NEW MAGNITE IS AVAILABLE WITH A 1.0-LITRE TURBOCHARGED THREE-CYLINDER ENGINE WITH A MAXIMUM POWER OF 74 KILOWATTS, AND THE DRIVETRAIN IS AVAILABLE WITH EITHER A FIVE-SPEED MANUAL OR CVT CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION. All models are front-wheel drive.
The old Nissan MAGNITE
The Nissan MAGNITE is based on the CMF-A+ architecture and is based on the same platform as the Renault Triber and Kiger. FIRST RELEASED IN 2020, THE NEW MAGNITE IS A MID-FACELIFT VERSION OF THE CURRENT GENERATION OF THE MODEL, WHICH IS MAINLY SOLD IN SOUTHEAST ASIA AND AFRICA.
