Carry out school food education activities
Recently, Futian District held the launching ceremony of the 2024 Futian District Campus Food Safety Publicity and Education Week and the release of children's food education results in the Donghai Experimental Kindergarten of Futian District. With the theme of "Integrity and Thrift, Sharing Food Safety", the Publicity and Education Week planned and carried out eight series of publicity and education activities.
At the event, the student representatives led the students to read out the proposal with the theme of "Honesty and Thrift, Sharing Food Safety". The Kindergarten students also performed the song and dance performance "Ode to Food".
According to the results of children's food education released by Futian District, since 2023, a total of 120 "Campus Food Education Project" series activities have been carried out, including 42 food education classrooms on campus, 30 food safety lectures, 5 food safety lectures under the national flag, 4 open days for parents and 39 rapid food education science popularization experience activities carried out outside the school.
In 2024, the Futian Supervision Bureau of the Shenzhen Municipal Administration for Market Regulation and the Futian District Education Bureau will also design characteristic popular science education for different school ages of "kindergarten-primary-junior high-high school" through the "on-campus + out-of-school" double-line rollout activity, and have gradually created a Futian model of "campus food education project" with the characteristics of Shoushan District.

In order to lay a good "foundation" for children's food education and train and improve the professional ability and knowledge level of kindergartens to carry out food safety publicity and education, in 2024, Futian District will guide the Xiaopi Food Education Public Welfare Team to cultivate a team of food education lecturers for kindergarten students, and create a set of mature, promotable, and "dry" public welfare food education courses to promote the widespread popularity of children's food education activities in Futian District.
In the public welfare food education class, the teachers asked "How does food come about?" "What kind of food is this?" Through the explanation of the food pyramid, the children are led to learn the appropriate intake of different types of food, and through small games such as drawing blind boxes, the children are entertained and taught to develop correct eating habits.
In the first half of this year, Futian District and Xiaopi Food Education Public Welfare Team conducted visits and research, courseware design and 9 on-site delivery classes into the kindergarten, and continuously polished through absorbing feedback, officially completed the courseware design in the second half of the year, and produced an original food education science cartoon covering the four dimensions of "food cognition, food nutrition, food safety, and healthy habits" for kindergarten publicity and education.
