In recent years, relying on the advantages of China's main jasmine producing areas and jasmine tea processing areas, Hengzhou City has continued to make precise efforts to shape the core of the industry, strengthen the overall improvement, build a high-level talent platform with regional characteristics and international influence, and build up momentum for the high-quality development of the jasmine industry.
Build a "national brand" platform to lay the foundation

Tea Evaluation Room, Microbiology Laboratory, Data Processing Center, Spectroscopic Instrument Room, Organic Pretreatment Room...... In each testing room, technicians are concentrating on their work, which is a scene of the daily operation of Hengzhou Comprehensive Inspection and Testing Center.
With the strong support of the autonomous region and Nanning City, a leading group for the construction of the joint construction project at the district, city and county levels was established, and the "Feasibility Study Report of the National Jasmine and Products Quality Inspection Center" was formulated to carry out the project planning and construction work. Based on the laboratory of Hengzhou Comprehensive Inspection and Testing Center, 35 million yuan has been invested to build the "National Sugar and Processed Food Quality Inspection and Testing Center Jasmine and Products Quality Inspection and Testing Center" with 50 types of edible jasmine extract and jasmine tea, 327 jasmine and product inspection and international standard formulation qualifications, which will be completed and put into operation in 2024 and is the only platform with national quality inspection qualifications at the county level in Guangxi. Hengzhou City has established a sound agricultural product quality supervision system with high-level inspection and testing capabilities, standardized the whole industrial chain of jasmine planting, production, processing and sales, and promoted the quality upgrading of jasmine and products. Relying on the national quality inspection platform, it participates in the formulation of international standards for jasmine and products, effectively breaks the technical barriers to international trade of jasmine and products, and provides strong technical support for the high-quality development of the national jasmine industry.
A few days ago, the 2024 National Jasmine Tea Product Quality and Packaging Survey and Selection Activity was held in Hengzhou Comprehensive Inspection and Testing Center. A total of 138 jasmine tea samples from 74 participating companies were received in the event, and the overall number of jasmine tea brands participating in the testing increased by about 15%, basically involving all popular jasmine tea products in the market.

In view of the shortage of high-end talents in the local jasmine industry and the lack of independent training ability, Hengzhou City has adopted the model of "platform resource sharing, industrial project co-research, and talent team co-construction", through sharing the platform resources of the National Jasmine and Quality Inspection Center and the jasmine industry resources, starting from the relationship between "inspection" and "research", and hiring 2 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering as the "Chief Development Consultant of Hengzhou Jasmine Industry" in the way of "going out and inviting in", and flexibly introducing 1 doctor from Guangxi University for Nationalities. The associate professor serves as the academic leader of the National Jasmine and Quality Inspection Center, invites 1 professor of Guangxi Product Quality Inspection and Research Institute to serve on a temporary basis, flexibly introduces 28 senior professional title talents in the fields of food, medicine, chemical engineering, toxicology and other fields of Guangxi Product Quality Inspection and Research Institute, and leads local technical talents to carry out jasmine-related scientific research and technology research such as "jasmine aroma and extract analysis and identification", and builds a "high-precision" talent team in the city's jasmine industry in a stepwise manner. With the support of high-level scientific research talents, we will continue to strengthen the core competitiveness and innovation and development of the jasmine industry.
In 2024, we will complete the research and development of 9 technologies, including the improvement of jasmine planting technology and the comprehensive utilization of deep processing, and drive more than 150 local technical talents to improve their scientific research level.

Guided by new quality productivity, Hengzhou City has made an in-depth layout of the jasmine "1+9" industry, taking the opportunity of building a national jasmine and quality inspection center, focusing on scientific and technological innovation, digital transformation and brand building, strengthening the "double recruitment and double introduction" with "project-oriented" thinking, continuously introducing leading enterprises in the jasmine industry, building new R&D institutions, and promoting the high-quality development and overall improvement of the jasmine industry with high-quality enterprise projects and scientific research projects.
"Of the 10 jasmine flowers in the world, 6 are from Hengzhou, Guangxi". At the 6th World Jasmine Congress, Hengzhou City was awarded the plaque of "Jasmine New Tea Beverage Science and Technology Innovation R&D Center" by the China Tea Circulation Association, and signed 9 major projects involving high-end new jasmine products and food processing fields, including Nongfu Spring Hengzhou Jasmine Tea Production Base, with a total investment of 7.204 billion yuan.
