Chu Shijian, born in Yunnan, is the king of Asian smoke and the king of orange in China. He has been entangled with the fate of Ailao Mountain all his life, where his frustration and suffering are recorded.
In the 60s of the 20th century, Chu Shijian, who was serving as the head of the personnel section of the Yuxi Administration, was sent to Yuanjiang Farm, a penal colony on the outskirts of Ailao Mountain, due to personnel struggles.
Yuanjiang Farm, located in a hot and dry river valley, is overgrown with wild grass, snakes and insects, and the perennial temperature is as high as 40 degrees Celsius.
During the day, Chu Shijian worked with his head down under the scorching heat, and at night, he was arranged to live in a temporary shed with light and ventilation on all sides, and he couldn't sleep.
One morning, Chu Shijian woke up in severe discomfort and found that he had a fever all over his body, his limbs were weak, blood was constantly flowing out of his nasal cavity, and he didn't even have the strength to get out of bed.
Seeing that the nosebleeds were flowing more and more, and he couldn't stop it, Chu Shijian swallowed the blood hard, afraid that if he didn't, his blood would soon run out and die.
When the friends around him walked to the bedside, they could only look at them in a hurry, and then they were urged by the leader to work again.
In addition to the gap brought by the environment, all kinds of gossip also eroded Chu Shijian's heart from time to time.
At the age of 38, Chu Shijian was transferred to a sugar factory in the small town of Gasa in the eastern part of Ailao Mountain, where in addition to focusing on production, he often went to the Gasa River to catch fish, for which he suffered a lot of strange eyes.
"You are also a cadre in the former region, and you have been assigned to such a backward place, and you still have the heart to go down to the river to get fish? Simply unrepentant. ”
I thought that this was the biggest suffering in Chu Shijian's life, but I never thought that after 36 years, when he returned to Ailao Mountain again, he was burdened with even greater suffering.
In 1979, Chu Shijian left the town of Ailao Mountain and was sent to Yuxi Cigarette Factory, and it took only 17 years for Yuxi Cigarette Factory to be the first in the country and the fifth largest in the world. The production of Hongtashan and Sanwu, Marlboro and other world-old foreign cigarettes go hand in hand, is the first brand in China.
At the most brilliant, he took the technicians in the factory and flew to Europe to buy equipment, and in less than 1 month, he purchased 2 billion equipment.
In the year when Vanke Vanke's annual income was only 2 billion yuan, Chu Shijian's Yuxi cigarette factory achieved 30 billion profits and taxes.
Chu Shijian is known as the Asian king of cigarettes.
When his career reached its peak, he was anonymously accused of corruption and bribery, and overnight, he was reduced from a famous Asian tobacco king to a prisoner, relatives were tried, his wife was imprisoned, his daughter committed suicide, and his elderly body passed out several times in prison due to diabetes.
Continuously fell from the peak of life to the bottom, and no one could bear it, not to mention Chu Shijian again and again, and the drop was bigger and bigger.
In other words, they may think that it is better to go into the "Ailao Mountain" and be liberated by death, but Chu Shijian stood up with two hard bones and struggled with each other.

Life is impermanent, but Chu Shijian can walk out of the "Ailao Mountain" of life again and again.
Not only one friend asked him curiously, why didn't he think about depression, so he went crazy or even committed suicide?
Chu Shijian blurted out instinctively,
"I can't live across the ball".
In the most difficult days, Chu Shijian can always find joy in life.
In Yuanjiang Farm, the conditions were difficult, and Chu Shijian was often hungry, so he went to the river to catch fish and improve his food.
Once, he and Lao Bai, a local villager, used a boat to transport firewood, and when they rowed to the middle of the river, Lao Bai shouted: "Hurry, hurry!" ”
Chu Shijian and Lao Bai caught a fish of almost 70 catties in a net, one held the head, the other held the tail, and worked together to catch the fish.
Later, the fish was taken home, cut into pieces, salted with two catties of salt, and after drying, the two made an appointment to open a small stove together.
In the bitter cold land of exile, Chu Shijian ate the most delicious fish.
Later, Chu Shijian tasted the most unforgettable spicy chicken in his life while serving his sentence.
In 1999, Chu Shijian was imprisoned and became a prison librarian from the king of Asian smoke.
When he was not on duty in prison, he often climbed the hill behind the prison for a walk, and the warden was worried that he would not be able to think about it and do impulsive things, so he would always send someone to follow him.
Chu Shijian found that there was a family on the mountain, as if they usually helped the prison do some work.
Later, every time I walked into this house to chat, I had a happy chat, and I killed a chicken together, and made a spicy chicken in full swing.
"The spicy chicken here is delicious."
In other words, ordinary people, if they suddenly encounter such bad luck in life, not to mention looking for short-sightedness, I am afraid that even if they are entertained with a full banquet of the Manchu and Han people, they will have no taste in their mouths and bitterness in their hearts.
But Chu Shijian will still taste the happiness and joy of life because of a fish and a bite of spicy chicken.
After being released from prison, Chu Shijian was over 70 years old, and everyone around him thought that his life was like this, and the sun was setting day by day.
Chu Shijian decided to return to Ailao Mountain to plant oranges.
He carried an insulin infusion bag (used to treat diabetes) on his back, went up the mountain to drill forests, set up pipes and canals, prepared the land, planted fruit seedlings, ate and lived on the mountain, and used the rest of his life to care for the abundance of the mountain.
In 2015, the orange named after him, Chu Cheng, was sold all over the country, and Chu Shijian was 87 years old.
All kinds of fate have tied Ailao Mountain and Chu Shijian together. Chu Shijian's lover Ma Jingfen, when he was 81 years old, he mentioned Xinping in Ailao Mountain, and he sighed so much,
"We're probably going to have to close our eyes there in the future."

Along the way of life, we will always fall into difficulties, like falling into a dark and cold well, anxiously looking around, waiting for a long time to find a way out, so we begin to seek relief in extreme ways.
Actually, not really.
Just like the old man Chu Shijian, who has experienced many ups and downs in his life, he can still stand on the top of Ailao Mountain, smile indifferently, and write a thousand words:

There is a sky outside the sky, there are only four words, but it contains profound connotations.

The theory of "community".
During the psychological consultation, Adler found that many people chose to end their young lives by extreme means because they could not endure the long-term predicament, so he proposed the theory of "community".
In Adler's view, people cannot live alone from society and interpersonal relationships, as long as there are two people, there will be society, there will be a "community", from the family, the community, the school, to the society, the country, all the way to the earth, all the big and small "community".

If you are repeatedly suppressed because of your correctness, then you can end the work and devote yourself to the larger community of society, and continue to seek the realization of self-worth.
This is the philosophical connotation of "there is a sky outside the sky".
For Chu Shijian, Ailao Mountain is a bigger "sky".
Due to the limitations of the times, the old system, the former "one world" could not accommodate Chu Shijian, so he could also enter a broader world, go to a larger "community" to soar freely, and realize his value.
Many of our ancestors understood the wisdom that "there is heaven beyond the sky".
In the second year of Yuanfeng, Su Shi, who was an official in the court, was demoted to Huangzhou by the imperial court because of the "Wutai Poetry Case", and was imprisoned for one hundred and three days, and was almost killed.
This is undoubtedly a fatal blow to the literati who entered the official career by studying, but Su Shi was not discouraged by this.
In the natural landscape, he found a larger "piece of heaven".
"But the breeze on the river, and the bright moon in the mountains, the sound of the ears, the color of the eyes, the inexhaustible use. It is the infinite treasure of the Creator."
Su Shi, who was degraded and exiled, understood the truth that "there is heaven outside the sky", and it is difficult not to say that this is another "achievement" from an official to a romantic spiritual and cultural symbol of China.
