Abstract: There are three bidding sections of the demonstration area line to launch construction bidding, the total construction and installation cost of the bidding section is about 2.8 billion yuan, and the bidding announcement of the third phase of the demonstration area line project material testing (including pile foundation testing) in the same period indicates that the third phase of the project is one step closer to the start of construction.
Today (October 9), three more bids for the demonstration area line launched construction bidding.
The total investment of the demonstration area line project is about 39.115 billion yuan, and the total cost of the construction and installation project in the three bidding sections is 280018 million yuan (about 2.8 billion yuan).
Among them, two bids are located in Qingpu District and one is located in Minhang District.
The maximum construction period for the three sections is 776 calendar days, i.e. about two years.
The following are the details of this bidding:
1. SFQSG-8 standard construction of Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line Project
Tenderee: Shanghai Shentie Investment Co., Ltd
Construction site: Qingpu District, Shanghai
Construction bidding scope: Qingpu Xincheng South Station (not included) ~ Qingpu New Town Station (not included) shield section, including the wrecker removal project within the range, the interface behind the station and the embedded reservation and other projects
Total project investment: 3911540 million yuan (about 39.115 billion yuan)
Construction and installation project cost of this bid section: 916.56 million yuan (about 917 million yuan)
The highest price limit of this bidding: 76000000 yuan (about 760 million yuan)
Construction period: 729 calendar days
According to the "Opinion on Pre-examination and Site Selection of Land for Construction Projects" (Shanghai Guishu (2023) BA310000202301430) approved in November last year, the length of the line of the third phase of the project is about 24.145 kilometers, of which the length of the Hongqiao hub section is about 7.179 kilometers, and the length of the section from Zhaozhong Highway Station to Zhujiajiao Station is about 16.966 kilometers. The line is equipped with 1 station, 1 vehicle base, 2 main substations and 1 intermediate air shaft.
In other words, the third phase of the demonstration area line project only includes one new station, that is, Qingpu New Town South Station.
Due to the design change, the 16.966-kilometer section from Zhaozhong Highway Station to Zhujiajiao Station has also been included in the third phase of the demonstration area line, but only Qingpu Xincheng South Station is included, and the rest are section sections without stations.
Therefore, the construction of SFQSG-8 standard project of Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line Project is the third phase of the project.
In June this year, the Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line Project SFQSG-7 bid construction bidding, in addition to including Qingpu New Town South Station, other sections are consistent with the SFQSG-8 bid, but the construction content is different, the tender is a shield section, and the original SFQSG-7 bid should be an open cut section and subgrade section, the original SFQSG-7 bid construction bidding content is:
The civil works of Qingpu Xincheng South Station (inclusive) ~ Qingpu Xincheng Station (not included), including the main body and ancillary structures of Qingpu Xincheng South Station (excluding decoration), bridge section (excluding the prefabrication and erection of bridge deck system and precast beams), U-shaped groove and buried tunnel, obstacle removal works within the interval, station back interface and embedded reservation and other projects.

The construction of SFQSG-17 standard of Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line Project is also a third-phase project.
This bidding section, consistent with our previous prediction, there is indeed a civil bidding from the middle wind shaft (inclusive) to the four-line open-cut section (exclusive).
In June this year, the bidding for the scope of Fangle Road Station (not included) ~ intermediate wind shaft (excluding SFQSG-16 standard construction) and the civil works of the four-line open cut section (SFQSG-18 standard construction) has been launched.

3. SFQSG-19 standard construction of Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line Project

Construction site: Qingpu District, Shanghai
Construction bidding scope: including 2 new beam yards, prefabrication and erection of prefabricated beams on the whole line, bridge deck engineering of the whole line (except for cast-in-place beam embedded parts), rescue and evacuation channels for bridges on the whole line, etc. The main project content includes the prefabrication and erection of single-line simply supported box girders, double-line simply supported box girders, and track beams of elevated stations (except Xicen Station), the construction of bridge deck systems such as bridge railings, shutters, vertical walls, protective walls, cover plates, bridge deck anti-drainage, protective layers, catenary foundations, and the construction of prefabricated beam yards.

The time for obtaining bidding documents for the above three bids is from October 9, 2024 to October 14, 2024.
The deadline for submitting bid documents is 09:30 on October 30, 2024.
After this round of bidding, we judged that the civil works of the entire demonstration area line have basically started bidding except for the vehicle base on the east side of Qingpu Xincheng Station and the main substation in the base.
Yesterday (October 8), the bidding results of SFQCJ-3 for engineering material testing (including pile foundation testing) and SFQCJ-6 for engineering material testing (including pile foundation testing) for Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line were announced. All involve the scope of the third phase of the demonstration area line, and the pile foundation detection is the prelude of the pile foundation project, which indicates that the third phase of the demonstration area line is one step closer to the start of construction.
Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line Engineering Material Testing (Including Pile Foundation Testing) SFQCJ-3 Bidding Scope:
This project involves the material testing (including pile foundation testing) of the following projects within the scope of DK18+639.24-DK29+613.442 and CRDK0+116.452-CRDK1+638.100:
1) 3 elevated sections: Zhujiajiao Station (not included) - Qingpu New Town South Station (not included), EMU entrance and exit line, Qingpu New Town South Station (not included) - Qingpu New Town Station (not included);
2) Qingpu Xincheng South Railway Station;
3) Qingpu Xincheng South Station (not included) - Qingpu New Town Station (not included) open cut section and subgrade section;
4) Qingpu Xincheng South Station (not included) - Qingpu Xincheng Station (not included) shield section;
5) The connecting station of the EMU.
Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line Engineering Material Testing (Including Pile Foundation Testing) SFQCJ-6 Bidding Scope:
This project involves HQDK0+023-HQDK7+179.363 and the material testing (including pile foundation testing) of the following projects within the scope of the main transformer of Huaqing Road:
1) 2 shield sections: Fangle Road Station (not included) - intermediate wind shaft (not included), HQDK4 + 440 - HQDK6 + 708.633 section;
2) Intermediate air shaft;
3) four-line cut-and-cover section;
4) Huaqing Road main transformer;
5) Beam yard (precast beam production and erection, bridge deck system).
The Shanghai Demonstration Zone Line starts from Hongqiao Hub in the east to Shuixiang Living Room Station in the west, mainly along the west side of Beiqing Highway, Waiqingsong Highway, G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway and G318 Huqingping Highway, with a total length of about 52.4 kilometers, of which the underground section is 26.4km long, the elevated section is 25.7km long, and the roadbed section is 0.3km long.
There are 10 stations on the whole line, including 4 underground stations (Fangle Road Station, Huaqing Road Station, Qingpu Xincheng Station, Shuixiang Living Room Station) and 5 elevated stations (Xule North Road Station, Zhaozhong Highway Station, Qingpu Xincheng South Station, Zhujiajiao Station, Xicen Station), with an average station spacing of 5.841km.
There is 1 Qingpu EMU station on the whole line, which is connected to the EMU station, 2 main substations, 1 is co-located with the EMU station, and 1 is located on the northwest side of Huaqing Road Station, with a design speed of 160km/h.
