Kim Young-sook was born in North Korea in 1932 and joined the Communist Party of China in 1952. He was the chief of the political engineering section of the Meihekou Municipal Technical Supervision Bureau. He has been successively rated as a national, provincial, and municipal (county) model worker, a national "March 8th Red Banner Bearer," and a former model of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. In 2014, he was named "Jilin Good Man"; in 2015, he was named an outstanding communist party member of Jilin Province; in 2016, the All-China Women's Federation awarded The Jin Yingshu family the "Most Beautiful Family in The Country"; in 2016, he was named "National Advanced Figure in the Elderly" by the Office of the National Committee on Aging; in 2016, he was awarded the "Outstanding Communist Party Member of Jilin Province" by the Jilin Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China; in 2016, the Jin Yingshu family was named the first national civilized family; In 2017, he was awarded the "National Model of Moral Model Nomination Award" by the Civilization Office of Jilin Province, and in 2017, he was awarded the "National Moral Model Nomination Award" by the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Civilization Office, the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the All-China Women's Federation.

Kim Young-sook was born in North Korea and came to China with her mother at the age of 8. She joined the revolution as a teenager, joined the party in 1952, and won the titles of national military martyrs' socialist construction activist, former model of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, active socialist construction for women, and "March 8 Red Banner Bearer" in the country. In 1956, 1959 and 1963, he was received three times by Mao Zedong, Liu Shaoqi, Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, Deng Xiaoping and other leaders of the older generation. In 1971, the 39-year-old Kim Young-sook was arranged by the organization to marry Lee Chong-hwan, who was two years older than her. For more than 40 years, he regarded the 3 children left by her husband and ex-wife as her own, did not have children, and devoted all her love to cultivate these 3 children.
Play the residual heat of the old and do something
In 1987, Kim Young-sook started volunteer quality inspectors, price supervisors and other public welfare work, and used her professional knowledge to pull out a lot of "black heart scales". In the past 20 years, she and 4 other volunteer supervisors have inspected more than 5,000 rod scales, confiscated more than 300 "black heart scales" according to law, repaired 290 scales voluntarily, and confiscated 25 kilograms of magnets on the weighing pan. Her deeds were reported by CCTV and Jilin Television, and they were commended by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Shenyang Military Region. Kim Young-sook and her old partner planted many fragrant flowers and plants near the community where they lived, and also planted saplings and seeds on the river embankment, planting more than 6,000 trees on both sides of the river embankment road and around the gateball court. She took the lead in donating money and books to establish the first community library in Meihekou City. She and her husband have set aside 1,200 yuan to build a position for the activities of the revitalization association, raising 4 desks, 16 stools, 4 chairs, two large cabinets, books and magazines, and asking member Sun Chuande to draw 6 pictures on the walls to add to the atmosphere.
Enthusiastic public welfare to help the needy
Kim Young-sook and his wife are actively involved in helping the disadvantaged. All the veteran soldiers often beat and scolded the children, causing the children to have a rebellious mentality. Once the child was beaten and wanted to lose his life, he rushed out of the house and jumped into a nearby deep ditch. Kim Young-sook and her husband Lee Chung-hwan shrugged off the crowd of onlookers, jumped into the water without hesitation, rescued the child, changed the child into clean clothes, and then did in-depth and meticulous ideological work, gradually eliminating the child's misunderstanding of the parents. She subsidizes the tuition fee of more than 2,000 yuan for the daughter of Wang Enhui, a special hardship household, every year. Dong Fuhua, a special hardship household in the community, has three children who are mentally ill, living on low insurance and picking up waste products, and in addition to daily financial support, his granddaughter has been provided by Kim Young-sook since she was in elementary school. Over the years, Kim Young-sook has lived a frugal life, but has donated nearly 40,000 yuan.
Good deeds have no boundaries, Kim Young-sook uses her ordinary actions to help those who are poor, sick and weak, let them feel the warmth of society, and let love and pay become the main theme of social harmony. She spreads silent love with her personality charm, touching everyone around her, and the fragrance of this human charm has been truly released and sublimated in her body.
