The National Day holiday is approaching, implement the "three clearances and three customs" at home in advance, and build a strong family firewall before long-distance travel.
Clear the kitchen
The kitchen is the place where the most fire is used in the home, and it is easy to cause fires. It is necessary to regularly clean up the oil and debris in the kitchen, and keep the stove, range hood and other equipment clean.
Check whether the gas pipelines and valves are in good condition and whether there are any leaks. Pay attention to ventilation when using gas to avoid gas leakage and accumulation and explosion.
Do not pile flammable items such as paper, plastic, etc. in the kitchen. Flammable liquids such as edible oil should be stored properly and away from fire.
Clear balcony
Balconies are often a place in the home where clutter is piled up, such as waste newspapers, cardboard boxes, plastic bottles, etc. These debris can easily become the fuse of the fire, and once ignited, the fire will spread quickly.
It is necessary to clean up the debris on the balcony in time and keep the balcony tidy. Do not pile flammable or combustible materials on the balcony, let alone set off fireworks on the balcony.
The windows of the closed balcony should be kept intact to prevent external fire sources from entering the balcony and causing a fire.
Clear the road
The corridor is an important passage for residents to evacuate and must be kept unblocked. Do not pile up clutter in the hallway, such as bicycles, furniture, cardboard boxes, etc. Not only can these debris hinder evacuation, but they can also become incendiary in the event of a fire, exacerbating the fire.
Do not park or charge electric vehicles in the hallway. Electric vehicles are prone to fire during the charging process, and once a fire starts, it will spread quickly and produce toxic smoke, which seriously threatens the life safety of residents.
Check whether the fire protection facilities in the corridor are in good condition, such as fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, etc. If there is any damage, the property or relevant departments should be notified in time for repair.
Turn off the gas
After using gas, close the gas valve in time to prevent gas leakage. Before going out for a long time or going to bed at night, it is even more important to double-check whether the gas valve is closed.
If a gas leak is found, close the gas valve immediately, open doors and windows for ventilation, do not touch the electrical switch and use an open flame, and quickly evacuate to a safe area and notify the gas company for repairs.
Turn off the power
After the electrical equipment is used, it is necessary to unplug the power plug in time to avoid fire caused by long-term power-on. Especially some high-power electrical appliances, such as air conditioners, electric water heaters, induction cookers, etc., must be turned off after use.
Do not mess with wires, do not use inferior sockets and electrical equipment. Regularly check whether the wire is aged or damaged, and replace it in time if there is a problem.
Before going out or going to bed, turn off the power switch of all electrical equipment to avoid fire caused by electrical failure.
Close doors and windows
When going out, close doors and windows to prevent external fire sources from entering the room and causing fires. Especially in windy weather, it is more important to pay attention to closing doors and windows to avoid the wind from fueling the fire.
Before going to bed at night, also check whether the doors and windows are closed to ensure the safety of the family.
