Education is to enlighten wisdom, which needs to be guided by the situation, provided that the student's mind is relaxed. Therefore, the teacher must love the students sincerely, you stand on the podium, you have to imagine yourself as a beam of light, you are illuminating everyone, but at the same time you are light but not shining, you are friendly to the students, like your own children.
Another very important aspect of respecting students is to cherish students' time, and it is very important to grasp the time of each class, and I still remember the best teacher in my middle school, always after the last sentence, the bell rang after class. Assign students extracurricular homework and experimental topics, calculate the time, try not to let students spend too much time in your class, have empathy, and respect and cherish students' spare time. As a new teacher, you must understand that there must be rules in class, and without rules, any teaching will be ineffective, so the relationship with students should be polite and courteous, principled, fair and just, and do not lower the requirements.
In the first class, the rules must be clearly explained, including the rules of grading, the rules of class, the rules of absence, the rules of using mobile phones, the rules of experiments, the rules of exams, etc. Once you have set these rules, don't change them easily, because when your classmates notice that you have changed the rules, no matter how good the reason, they will be dissatisfied, and it will be regarded as an "unreasonable" request.
The rules are set by the teacher, and the teacher must be responsible, prudent, and fair, without any partiality. It is irresponsible for a teacher not to set rules, and if you don't set rules at this time, when students graduate in the future, someone will definitely teach your students a lesson. Nowadays, some students do not have rules at home, and if there are no rules at school, it is very dangerous to go out into society.

As soon as the new teacher stands on the podium, the students begin to observe carefully, and your every move is remembered in the eyes of the students, and sometimes it will affect the students for a lifetime. If the teacher is often late, the student absence can be severe; If the teacher's board is neat, the student's notes will be neat and tidy; If the teacher is dignified, the students will also dress neatly. The teacher's behavior is part of the school's education, and what kind of teacher will have what kind of students.
I have a student who graduated with a doctorate from a prestigious university, and after going to a well-known university in China for an interview, I asked him what the result was, and he said that the university had given him a teaching position, but he decided not to go, and I asked him why, he said that when he went to the bathroom, he heard the teacher there talking foul language, and all he talked about was the salary and the short-term salary, and he said that such a school did not seem to have a teacher, which was not conducive to the growth of students.
New teachers can learn more from the old teachers and listen to the lectures more, the old teachers are often very experienced, and they should pay attention to the progress of learning lectures, key and difficult points, teaching art and student feedback. Teachers should be encouraged to listen to each other's lessons, learn from each other's experiences, and share their teaching experiences. Each teacher has their own style of teaching, you don't need to recruit to understand, but you must have a trick to specialize in and form a unique style.

Make the student thirsty and give him another bottle of water
Before the start of the semester, the new teacher should carefully consider the overall content and order of the course, not necessarily in the order of the book, but should unfold the lecture like a story, layer by layer, and a red line runs through the content of the entire course. The content of a course, which needs to be taught in class, and what can be left for students to study independently, needs to be prepared in advance when preparing for the lesson. There is no need to be exhaustive, there should be key points, the key points and difficult points should be repeated, and at the same time, students should be invited to come on stage to practice until you think that 80% of the students have mastered it.
For content that is not taught in class, questions should be designed, questions should be asked in class, students should be reminded that these are within the scope of the exam, and students should have the opportunity to explore new questions independently.
Don't be in a hurry to talk about the words "reason" and "reason", "Tao" is always in front of "reason", just like talking about Tang poetry, let everyone memorize the poem first, and then slowly talk about the background and meaning of the poem, it is easy to grasp. Arrange interactive sessions in the classroom, so that students have the opportunity to make presentations and explain the content independently. Teachers should encourage interaction, leave a certain amount of time to ask questions in each class, make a record of each question on the students' roster, and invite students to come on stage to talk about the content of the course, or practice questions, so that students have the opportunity to express themselves in class.
Interaction is not limited to teacher-student interaction, students can also interact with students, and sometimes you invite classmates to come into class to give lectures, and the effect will be surprisingly good. Note that the best way to learn is to teach others, and when you explain them thoroughly, you will understand it yourself.
Praise more and criticize less. Criticism should pay attention to the occasion, pay attention to proportion, and students who have realized their mistakes should not criticize anymore, but should give students face.

Pay attention to the method of testing
The test should be arranged in advance, the class cannot be without the test, the new teacher must carefully grasp it, the test can not be too frequent, too frequent will be indiscriminate; It can't be too sparse, too sparse and easy to slack, so it should be timely.
The test should be moderate, I am more in favor of being strict first and then easy, the first few tests, let the students know your requirements, so it can't be too easy, the last few exams will affect the overall performance of the students, generally moderate is better. Writing questions is a big challenge for new teachers, as it tests students' difficulty, error-proneness, depth and ability to analyze comprehensively.
Testing is important, but don't train students to be "exam machines." I often arrange a one-on-one interview in a class of less than 40 people, which takes a little longer, but the effect is often very good, I have to prepare about 50 questions in advance, and then according to the answers, the teacher asks a question on the spot, and the student's grade is determined by the answers to the two questions.
