When electric cars were first introduced, the slogan was to save money. I have a Wuling Hongguang MINIEV at home, which costs about 7 cents per kilometer when charging at home, which is indeed much cheaper than a fuel car.
But the problem is that in the past few months, there has been news that the price of electricity is going to rise, so that people with electric vehicles around them are very anxious, for fear that the cost of their cars will increase due to the rise in electricity prices. At that time, the advantage of buying new energy vehicles will be completely gone.
Let me start with the point of view, the price of electricity is not likely to rise, but will fall relatively. Because the price of electricity is related to people's livelihood, we believe that the problem of rising electricity prices will lead to an increase in the cost of using a car, which is a false proposition, why do I say so?
The electricity price on my side is 5 cents and 5 cents, and the cost of using the car is 7 cents per kilometer. If the price of electricity is increased by 10 times, it is 5 yuan and 5 cents, and the cost of using the car will become 7 cents. In this way, it is about the same as the cost of a 2.0T fuel vehicle.
The problem is that the cost of domestic electricity prices depends on the supply and demand of electricity. At present, the supply of electricity on the mainland is not insufficient at all, but too much, so much that we can't use it up at all, some of which are directly wasted, and some of which are directly transported to various small neighboring countries.
The mainland has photovoltaic power generation, wind power generation, coal-fired power generation and many other power generation methods, and the waste of wind power generation in 2022 alone is as high as 2.4 billion kWh. Based on the calculation of 10,000 kilometers per vehicle per year, the wasted electricity alone is enough to ensure the driving of more than 10 million electric vehicles.
If the state raises the price of electricity, what will happen to those who have an income of only 1,000 yuan a month, or even only 1,200 yuan a year, and can they still enjoy the benefits of socialism? Therefore, it is simply impossible for electricity prices to rise, and the big guys just have to relax.
It is impossible for ordinary residents to increase their electricity consumption, and it is impossible for factories to increase their commercial electricity consumption. Our country is now cautious and take care of these factories and enterprises, so that it is too late to let them go out of business, and how can it be possible to greatly increase their production costs.
As the production cost of the enterprise increases, the price of our goods will also increase. Electricity is the most fundamental energy source of a country, and in order to make this little money, the international people's livelihood has been hit by a huge blow, and it is impossible for any country to do this kind of thing!
Let's talk about the most extreme thing, the example just given is a 2.0T fuel vehicle as an example, but there are not only 2.0T in the world, but also hybrid cars with very low fuel consumption. For example, some hybrid cars have reached the point of 2 cents per kilometer in fuel consumption. If the price of electricity is too high, then it is not impossible for us to switch to refueling.
From the perspective of the country's energy strategy, the country will not be willing to let us refuel, because in doing so, the country will inevitably import more crude oil, and we will not be able to reduce our dependence on foreign crude oil. In case of an emergency, it is easy to get stuck in the neck.
Therefore, if you use electric vehicles, there is really no need to think about the increase in electricity prices, because it is impossible for the country to let electricity prices rise. I can even say that the price of electricity in the future will remain around 5 cents for a long time. And our income will be higher and higher, and the price of electricity is actually falling in disguise.
