At the end of July, Ducati unveiled their new generation of supercars, the 2025 Panigale V4 and V4 S. The official description of the flagship car is Wonder Engineered, which says that the new car, from the V4 engine and frame/chassis to a variety of electronically assisted electronic control systems, is mainly derived from their MotoGP factory race car, the Desmosecidi GP, which means that the technological evolution trajectory in the race track is brought to the production model.
In terms of base specs, the new generation of the 2025 Panigale V4 and V4 S supercars is powered by a modified V-shaped 90-degree four-cylinder Desmosedici Stradale engine with a displacement of 1,103 cc. The engine has been upgraded with an engine valve system, air intake system, ECU data package, etc., and the new car has a peak power output of 158.9 kW (about 216 hp per European version) under the original factory standard condition. The current European version has a peak power output of 158.5 kW (around 215 hp) and is equipped with a track-spec Ducati Performance exhaust system from Akrapovic Akrapovich, which increases the maximum power output to 228 hp.
The body features a revised aluminium main frame, a newly designed, symmetrical swingarm inspired by the new exterior styling of the 916, a new fairing with integrated aerodynamic components, a Showa fork for the standard variant, rear shock absorbers from Sachs (the S variant with Ohlins' electronically controlled front and rear suspensions), a digital instrument cluster, and a host of electronically assisted control systems with a six-axis IMU.

One of the highlights of the new generation of the Ducati 2025 Panigale V4 and V4 S supercars is the new styling with integrated aerodynamic design. In terms of exterior styling and ergonomics, the new car is partially characterized by the following:
1. From the original supercar 851 to the present, Ducati has accumulated decades of experience in modern sports car design, and with the help of data obtained from the track, the factory's thinking on the exterior design of production models has shifted to integrating aerodynamic elements into the overall shape of the vehicle, rather than letting aerodynamic components destroy the streamlining of the vehicle like MotoGP racing cars. The initial design of the new 2025 Panigale V4 series is an integrated design approach, with designers and engineers working hard to make aerodynamic components fit seamlessly into the lines of production vehicles.
2. The overall exterior was designed by the Centro Stile Ducati and was inspired by their legendary 916 sports car. The original goal was to take key iconic elements from Ducati's classic sports cars of the past and integrate the aerodynamics and ergonomics from Desmosedici GP to create a solution that would be both on the track and on the street.
3. In terms of practical effect, the newly designed fairing can reduce the air resistance by about 4%, so that the rider can effectively further reduce the resistance when running on the straight road; The integrated design of the double-layer fixed air wing provides the same downforce as the previous generation model, but in terms of appearance, the new fixed air wing has a more perfect streamlined combination with the contour of the front end of the fairing, and the styling is no longer "stitched" like the MotoGP factory race car;
4. The newly designed front wheel fenders and fairings on both sides have a good diversion effect, which can improve the heat dissipation efficiency of the entire engine cooling system, especially the oil cooler;
5. In terms of ergonomics, the new 2025 Panigale V4 has set a dual goal in terms of riding position/position: to ensure that the rider can be protected by the car's aerodynamic components to the greatest extent possible, and to further improve control of the vehicle during the most important phases of riding on the track, such as high-speed steering. The countermeasures to this dual goal are, first of all, to enlarge the space between the front and rear of the saddle, so that the gap between the saddle and the fuel tank provides the rider with greater freedom of longitudinal (front and rear) movement; In addition, there is a deep groove in the middle of the top of the fuel tank, so that when the rider accelerates wildly in the big straight, the helmet/chin protection package can be buried deep in it, so that the rider's entire head and upper body are protected by the front fairing;
6. Combined with the shape of the side cover and saddle of the body, the rear groove area of the fuel tank adopts a targeted design, so that the rider can better provide support for the rider when braking, entering corners and other operations, but will not restrict the body movement during other driving operations. When the rider is driving this new 2025 car, he will find that when steering, he can more easily use his knees to stabilize his body to offset the instantaneous deceleration impact caused by heavy braking, and can move his body more calmly for steering action control, thereby reducing arm pressure and reducing fatigue throughout the body;
7. Compared with the previous generation of Panigale V4, the pedal position has been moved inward by 10 mm to increase ground clearance, and the design allows the rider to put the soles of the feet and legs closer to the inner side of the body, so that the entire body can be protected by the fairing, improving the penetration of air resistance at high speeds.
