Promoting the Community and Promoting the Economy │ Mango TV's "Macao New Strategy" was officially launched on 5 August

Jointly produced by the Economic and Technological Development Bureau (DSEDT) and Mango TV, a popular online video platform in the Mainland, the micro-variety show "A New Approach to Macao" premiered on 5 August and has received more than 6.6 million views in its first 24 hours.

Through celebrity artists visiting shops along the "Flower Hub North" and "Macao North District Shopping and Dining Check-in Map", as well as visiting various scenic spots and characteristic merchants in various districts of Macao, the "Macao New Strategy" programme showcased the fun and delicious consumption strategies of various districts of Macao, presented the charm of Macao's community to the audience, promoted and attracted tourists for the summer holiday tourism season and the following "National Day Golden Week", and helped Macao SMEs increase their exposure and attract visitors.

The 12-episode series will be broadcast on Mango TV at 18:00 on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5 August to 10 September https://w.mgtv.com/.

Last year, the DSED, in collaboration with various chambers of commerce in Macao, collaborated with Mango TV for the first time to launch a micro-variety show "Macao's Wonderful Tour – Street Chapter" to promote the food and entertainment characteristics of various communities in Macao. After the broadcast of the programme, it was well received by mainland audiences, recording more than 160 million views and more than 310 million exposures of related content across the network. The EDIT will continue to showcase the charm of the community through different measures, combine the characteristic elements of the district, strengthen online and offline publicity and promotion, and lead people to flow into the district to drive consumption and increase the economic vitality of the community.
