Perhaps Omega's most iconic and versatile model, the Seamaster Aqua Terra has been added to the collection with three 41mm 18K Moonshine gold watches, following the launch of three black disc sizes in three sizes. Moonshine 18K gold is a OMEGA patented material that debuted in 2019 as part of the Speedmaster Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Limited Edition. Containing a certain amount of silver, copper and palladium, this material has a lighter hue and longer lasting color than traditional yellow 18K gold, and will not fade over time.
The new watch has a diameter of 41 mm and a thickness of 13.4 mm. The case is made of 18K Moonshine gold or 18K Moonshine gold between stainless steel (central links of the bezel, crown and bracelet), polished with a sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and see-through case back, and is water-resistant to 150 meters.
The new model features a green dial or a black lacquered dial adorned with the iconic teak stripe, while the solid gold hands and appliquéd hour markers are inlaid with white luminescent material to ensure readability in low light. On the dial, there is a date window at 6 o'clock, and unlike the green version, the black version has a frame.
The green version is powered by the Caliber 8901 and the black version is powered by the Caliber 8900, both Master Co-Axial Chronometer automatic movements, 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz), and twin barrels with a power reserve of 60 hours.
The new model is available in three different configurations: a 18K Moonshine gold case with a green dial and a green rubber strap (Ref. 220.52.41.21.10.001) with a price tag of 180,200 yuan; The 18K Moonshine Gold case with a green dial and 18K Moonshine Gold Bracelet (Ref. No. 220.50.41.21.10.001) is priced at RMB 316,100; The 18K Moonshine Steel Case with a black dial and a 18K Moonshine Steel Bracelet (Ref. 220.20.41.21.01.001) is priced at 110,000 RMB.
