In May 2021, Wang Xianshan was elected as the secretary of the party branch of Nanji Village. After taking office, his first thought was how to develop and strengthen the village collective economy and drive the villagers to increase their income and become rich.

At the same time, after the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences learned that Nanji Village was going to plant avocados, it supported them with 3,500 avocado seedlings, and completed the planting of 100 acres of avocado trees in November 2021, and the base was also successively rated as the 2022 National Grassroots Agricultural Technology and Technology Demonstration Base and the 2023 National Grassroots Agricultural Technology and Technology Demonstration Base, and published the paper "Avocado High-yield and High-quality Cultivation Technology", which provided a scientific basis for the development of the avocado industry in the county, and also drove the villagers of Nanji to plant 60 acres. In 2024, it is planned to plant 200 acres, and now more than 60 acres have been excavated and leveled, and it is expected to complete the planting of 200 acres in November.

According to Li Xue, according to the output of the bumper production period, the village collective can make a profit of 2 million yuan per year, which is a veritable "happy fruit" and "rich fruit". In the past two years, Li Xue has tasted the sweetness from sweat, and he hopes to pass on this "happiness" to the surrounding villagers and drive more people to get rich together.
