The Tokyo Paralympic Badminton Tournament entered the final stage on the 4th. In the women's singles WH2 level competition, the top two seeds of the tournament, Liu Yutong and Xu Tingting, won the championship and runner-up. In the end, Liu Yutong, who was only 17 years old, defeated his teammates and won the championship.

Liu Yutong won consecutive good results but was sober-minded
Liu Yutong, from Cangzhou, Hebei Province, is known as a "badminton prodigy", and four years ago, at the age of 13, she was on the top podium of the World Championships.
Liu Yutong lost both legs in a car accident when she was 4 years old. When she was 10 years old, her family saw the news that the Hebei Provincial Disabled Persons' Federation was recruiting disabled table tennis players and sent her to the stadium.
In 2015, 11-year-old Liu Yutong switched to badminton. Due to the financial constraints at home when she was young, she could not afford to buy a wheelchair, and Xiao Yutong could only rely on her hands most of the time, which allowed her to develop strong arm strength, but also made her wheelchair operation not skilled enough. At the beginning, Liu Yutong, who pushed a wheelchair with one hand and clapped with one hand, could not play the ball at all. But she quickly improved with her hard work and talent. Now she operates the wheelchair at a fast speed, in the words of Dong Jiong, the head coach of the residual badminton national team, "The speed on the field is like the wind." ”
At the age of 12, Liu Yutong, who changed the event for just over a year, won the Asian Championship. At the 2017 World Championships, 13-year-old Liu Yutong won the singles championship on the world series stage for the first time, and two years later won the women's singles and doubles doubles titles, and the world ranking rose to the first place. In the 2018 Asian Para Games, she won the gold medals in women's singles and mixed doubles.
However, the young Liu Yutong was not carried away by the good results, "I can't take it for granted to win the Paralympic gold medal because I have already won the World Championship." In Tokyo, she played steadily, did not miss a set to reach the final, and finally won the championship with a 21-15 victory over Xu Tingting in two sets. On the 5th, she will also partner with teammate Yin Menglu to compete with the host team for the women's doubles WH1-WH2 level championship.

Xu Tingting eliminated Selenk's main opponent
Xu Tingting is a 31-year-old veteran. The Qingdao girl had her left leg amputated in a traffic accident when she was 4 years old, but her disability did not stop her love of sports.
In 2013, 23-year-old Xu Tingting learned that the Qingdao Disabled Persons' Federation was recruiting disabled athletes and decided to give it a try. Although she started late, due to her sensitive body and fast reaction, Xu Tingting was successfully selected. She first trained in wheelchair basketball, quickly reached the national team, and competed at the 2014 World Championships in Canada.
Soon after, Xu Tingting began to contact badminton for the disabled. This is a project she has loved since she was a child, and former national featherweight star Lin Dan is her idol. Xu Tingting, who moved to the badminton arena, quickly emerged, reaching the podium at both the 2017 and 2019 World Championships. Before this expedition, Xu Tingting also interacted with the veteran of the national feather, Chen Long, and received the latter's blessing.
After the Paralympic group stage, Xu Tingting's signing position was not ideal. But she lived up to expectations, and in the quarter-finals, she beat her main opponent, Thailand's Amnuy Wetwissan, 2-0, and in the semifinals, she swept the No. 3 seed and host yuma Yamazaki to complete the task of "meeting the final". Although he eventually lost to teammate Ju Ya, the veteran and Liu Yutong jointly defended the monopoly position of the Chinese team in this class.
