Sequence comparison showed that the virus of the outbreak was highly homologous to the virus of recently reported cases in Inner Mongolia, Gansu and other places in China, and belonged to the same chain of transmission; the virus and the virus of the two confirmed cases in Fengtai District that had been previously reported were two branches of transmission of the same source. The infected people in this epidemic are mainly people aged 55 and above, and they are directly or indirectly related to tourism in Inner Mongolia.
