My mother is a rude village woman in the countryside.

On the day the eldest princess married my father, my mother fell into the lotus pond in Shangjing.

I hibernated beside the eldest princess and my father, and deliberately hooked my brother.

On the cliff, with red eyes, he asked me if I had ever loved him.

I laughed, who would love a tool for revenge?

My mother is a rude village woman in the countryside On the day the eldest princess married my father, my mother fell into the lotus pond in Shangjing

1

My mother is a fierce village girl, in order to save silver to feed our mother and daughter, but also for my father to study in Beijing to catch the exam, she worked day and night in the farmland, and people fight and grab water never fall behind, even if the official came to the door to ask for tax silver, she also sprinkled and rolled, just by such a temperament that does not enter the oil and salt she provided for me and my father.

My father lived up to expectations, was admitted to Tanhualang in one fell swoop, and won the official position in the capital.

My mother was so happy that she wrote a letter and took me to Beijing to find my father.

My mother took me for three months, sleeping in the open air, and the soles of my feet were worn out, but when I found my father's mansion, I was driven away by my subordinates.

"Our lord is a new science explorer, and he is about to be the eldest princess's son-in-law, where did the country wild woman dare to lie about the lord's wife?"

The mother didn't expect that the husband she worked hard to support would become Chen Shimei, she cried and screamed, but only got a stick in exchange.

"Li Minghan, even if you don't recognize me, don't you recognize your daughter Ruyue?"

I thought that my mother's temperament, even if she sued the royal court, would turn my father's mansion over and find justice for my mother, but unexpectedly, after she placed me in the inn, she secretly jumped into the lotus pond alone.

When my mother was salvaged, her whole body was swollen and deformed.

I'm not scared at all, no matter what becomes of my mother, she will always be my dearest mother.

I hugged her and cried heartbreakingly, without my mother, I was just a lost dog with no one to shelter.

2

I guarded my mother's body, called my father's name, and cried every day at the most lively slogan in the capital.

Finally, the current Tanhua and the emperor personally named the academician of the Hanlin Academy, that is, my father Li Minghan came to look for me.

He wore a robe made of silk and satin, and wore a purple and gold crown, and he did not see the cowering posture of leaving home at that time, he was born good-looking, and now he looked more and more handsome.

Daddy hugged me and wept, "Yue'er, Daddy is late, your mother ...... her."

I cried uncontrollably: "Daddy, they said you were the princess's son-in-law, so you don't want us anymore! Mother can't think of jumping into the lake!"

Dad also cried into tears: "Ruyue, when I was poor and sick, it was your mother who took care of me; I want to study and improve, and she worked day and night to send me to the academy; She married me and had nothing but one of my offers; Over the years, she has been a woman, taking care of the second elder and you at home. I, Li Minghan, am not an ungrateful person, but I can't refuse to be married by the Holy God today. You came to me, I wanted to show the Holy God that I had married a wife, but before my father could say it, your mother was already dead! Yun Niang, why can't you think about it like this, can't you wait for me to explain to you?"

When I saw him, even though my eyes had already contained the cruelty of a beast, I lowered my eyes and hugged him, soft and glutinous like an innocent child: "Daddy, take me back!" My mother is dead, and Yue'er is the only one left!"

In full view of everyone, my father could only carry me to the carriage and take me back to the mansion.

At the age of five, I was hidden in my father's arms, smiling secretly and sadly.

My mother died, she died on the day she entered Beijing, and she died ten days after the emperor issued an edict to marry the eldest princess and my father, and I grew up on that day and blended into the bloody wind and rain of Kyoto.

3

The mother died silently, like a gust of wind, passing over the capital, and quickly disappeared in the bustle of the capital.

On the day of my father and the princess's wedding, the princess wore a phoenix crown, and the wedding dress was embroidered with gold threads and round pearls, which shook so much that I could hardly open my eyes.

I thought of my mother sewing her patched clothes in the dim candlelight, and said with a smile on the corner of her mouth, "This is still my mother's wedding dress! That's when my mother wore it to your father's house."

My mother's bainab-like dress and the princess's luxurious wedding dress in front of me were infinitely repeated in front of me—

My poor mother!

How have you ever worn decent clothes in your life!

The wedding was very lively.

When they visited, I secretly placed my mother's tablet in the center.

I waited for the princess's rage, but I didn't expect that she just lifted the corner of the red hijab to reveal the corner of Fleur's beautiful face, and Daddy said weakly, "Yue'er is not sensible, I, I'm going to let people quickly take down the tablet...... Yun Niang and I are just a letter of appointment written by me, without the words of the matchmaker and the order of my parents, it is impossible to count......

He had my mother's tablet taken down.

My eyes widened so that the tears did not fall.

When my father's father died early, my mother was sick in front of the bed, it was my mother who did her filial piety for him in front of the bed, got up early and worked in the dark to fund him to study, and my father wrote a flower note as a letter of appointment, which made her happy infinitely, regardless of her parents' orders, and there was no matchmaker's words, when her father was not there, she kept holding the flower note and looked at it repeatedly, even if she didn't know a single big word.

But mother, you must not have imagined that you once loved the person who gave everything for it, but now you say that your marriage back then was not counted at all!

I hid in the crowd, my father couldn't find me, and I was in the way of the auspicious time, so I had to give up.

I hid under the wedding table and heard the guests whispering.

When the eldest princess was young, she was betrothed to General Han Nuo, and when she was about to get married, the iron cavalry of the Jin Kingdom broke through the imperial capital, and the saint fled westward, General Han Nuo was killed in battle, and the queen, the eldest princess and all the female dependents in Beijing were plundered to the Jin Kingdom.

Then, the new emperor ascended the throne, reused Han Nuo's younger brother Han Zixuan as a general, fought for several years, both sides suffered heavy losses, and finally negotiated peace with the Jin State before bringing back the queen and the eldest princess.

It is said that when negotiating with the Jin Kingdom, it was the eldest princess and the prince of the Jin Kingdom, Wanyan Zongxian, who fought with reason, so that I was exempted from half of the silver and compensation for the city, so the new emperor was very fond of the eldest princess, although the princess had already stated that she would keep the festival for General Han Nuo and would not marry for life, but the emperor still took pity on her loneliness and gave her a marriage to my father.

It's just that the saint didn't expect that my father already had my mother's wife as a bad chaff, but my mother is a village woman, how can she compare with the princess's daughter and all her karma?

Before the emperor could make a decree, my mother had already fallen into the lake.

In fact, even if she is alive, she is just a village woman without formal courtesy, and whose way is in the way?

4

After the big wedding.

She and her father lived a respectful life.

It is indeed "respectful of each other".

Daddy was on duty in the Hanlin Academy, compiling the history of the dynasty for the current emperor, leaving early and returning late.

The princess is busy in the house, she is not like the lady in Beijing next to her, she likes to enjoy flowers and tea, chant poems against each other, but frequent contacts with people in the palace, her daily contacts are very miscellaneous, there are seven small officials and three big officials, and even the notorious Dongchang cool officials, and she shuttles among them, speaks softly, quotes scriptures, and often has words that I don't understand; When she didn't speak, she had a cold face, or looked into the distance, stunned like Guanyin in the temple.

The princess had a grudge against my actions on my wedding day, but she was a high-ranking daughter-in-law, so naturally she would not bother with a lowly country girl like me.

People in high positions have never needed to get their hands dirty.

The princess stood still, and had her own slaves and maidservants against me.

If I did not do the right thing, or if I did not do the work in the house, they would not allow me to eat for a day and a night, or kneel on the long steps of the courtyard for a few hours, or beat me with a long ruler, and they scolded me for being a vulgar person from the country like my mother, and that I was not worthy of being here to stain the eyes of the princess.

Occasionally, when my father saw me, they would argue that I was too naughty and needed to teach me according to the rules of the palace, and my father would just say "oh" and stop caring about me.

I was only five years old at the time, but I had learned to endure and lick my wounds like a beast in the dead of night.

I always remember my mother's words: "O man, you are either alive or dead! If this thief doesn't have long eyes, we will all get through it, and we will always get through it!"

But soon, they stopped caring about me.

5

The princess became pregnant soon after she got married, and this child made her vomit and suffer a lot, so naturally she had no time to take care of me.

I remember that after giving birth to me, although my grandmother was bedridden, she always hoped that my father and my mother would have another boy, and she always lay there, crying and urinating: "Our Li family must have a queen!"

My mother always wiped my grandmother's body and changed her clothes clothes neatly, and said, "Where can I be busy right now! Besides, where is there such a good boy as a boy?"

Having said that, my mother has never studied, and in the end she only remembers "being a mother at home and a husband when she marries", and she will beg my father to give her another child.

But my father was only interested in reading the books of sages at that time, thinking about flying out of this poor cottage, where would he be willing to increase his bonds?

At the moment, he just reprimanded my mother with a straight face: "Yun Niang, I have passed the township examination and am about to go to Beijing to take the exam, if there are more children at this time, won't it disturb my energy, how can you take care of my mother and Yue'er?"

But now, this child's mother is a noble and supreme princess, both men and women, will bring supreme glory, and Daddy should be happy, right?

But I saw my father's face darken a little bit.

At night, I heard my father's voice that seemed to be pleading, "Princess, kill this child!"

The princess's voice seemed to be scornful: "I am bound to keep this child! If you marry me, you will know that you will have to bear all this."

The father said sadly, "Princess, I give you my heart, for your sake, I am willing to give up my future, and only work in the Hanlin Academy, even ...... Why can't you have a trace of sincerity towards me?"

The princess's voice was cold and detached: "Li Minghan, I told you as early as when you asked to marry me that you would only get the title of a colt, and nothing else. As for the future...... If it weren't for me, would you be a powerless and powerless kid from a humble family, do you think you would be able to serve in the Hanlin Academy?"

My father was too ashamed to say anything.

And I knelt down under the window, contemptuous of my father, and strange in my heart: my father ...... Don't even want that child?

I thought of the people with whom the princess had been on a daily basis, and gradually had a bold speculation in my heart, that the five-year-old child, because of this environment full of deceit, had already fallen into the mire, and would never see the light again.

6

After the eldest princess became pregnant, although she was unwell, she entered the palace more frequently, and everyone envied the princess for being favored, only her father's face became more and more gray.

Seven months later, the princess gave birth to a lin'er prematurely.

The little baby has fair skin, a high nose bridge, and especially a light brown pupil, which is very similar to the royal family of the princess's vein.

The father was smiling very happily when he held the baby, and only I knew what kind of bitterness lay under that smile.

The princess and my father had a rather cold life after marriage, and since they had children, she has focused all her energy on her younger brother.

The princess named her younger brother Jun Ze, and had high hopes for him, and the child next to her was only enlightened at the age of three, but the princess had already worshiped Taifu as a teacher when her younger brother was less than two years old, and sent him to study with several princes in the palace.

On that day, the princess held a feast in the palace for her brother's apprentice.

And I accidentally broke a jade bowl, and I was being scolded loudly by the princess's maid Jasper.

Daddy drank the wine and was staggering from the feast, and when he saw that I was being scolded by the slave like a quail, he seemed to suddenly remember that he still had my daughter, and he made a straight face: "Ruyue is my daughter, you are a subordinate, why do you scold her?"

Biyu has always been arrogant and indulgent by the princess's side, where can she look down on my father, a colt from the countryside who has no real power, and said with a sneer: "Li Ruyue made a mistake, of course she should be punished."

I clasped my hands around myself and looked at my father pitifully: "Daddy, Ruyue will be well-behaved in the future, and Ruyue will be more careful in helping the princess's mother and brother with laundry and food......

I wept so loudly that many people at the feast gathered to watch.

And when I said a word, my father's face was a little darker, although he usually saw me being called around, but he didn't pay much attention to it, but now in front of many officials in the DPRK and China, people heard that his own daughter was treated as a maid, and the maid next to the princess didn't take him as a colt at all.

Daddy was furious, picked up a whip hanging by the wall, slashed his head and covered his face, and whipped it at Biyu, and said angrily: "I am a colt, Ruyue is my daughter, this is your master!" If you are disrespectful to your master, then you should be punished!"

Daddy has been in the princess's mansion for so many years, he is cautious, others never knew that his temper would be so terrible, only I know how deep the humiliation is hidden, how terrible it is to erupt.

Biyu covered her face and rolled under her father's leather whip, and finally couldn't stand it, and begged for mercy: "Donkey, donkey, I was wrong, you spare me!"

My father threw away the whip and picked me up, and I rolled up my sleeves in time so that my father could see the bruises and old wounds on my body, and cried, "Daddy, Ruyue will be well-behaved, but Ruyue still can't read, and Ruyue also wants to study like her brother!"

The crowd was in an uproar: the daughter of the bachelor of the Hanlin Academy was actually illiterate!

At this time, the princess walked out with her brother in her arms.

She stood at the end of the corridor, looking at my dad who was holding me.

Even though it was so far away, I could still feel the calm in the princess's eyes.

But I knew it was my only chance.

I can't always be a slave in the house, like my mother can't read big words, I have to let my father remember, now I am the only relative in the world who has his blood flowing, I want to learn the rules of this Beijing, and I want to study and practice martial arts like a man, I want to wash away the breath of the countryside, even if this was brought to me by my mother, I want Li Ruyue to be remembered in Beijing, is the daughter of the noble eldest princess and the bachelor of Hanlin.

I don't know if the princess was aware of my scheming, but I guess she wouldn't have cared if she did.

In her eyes, my father and I were like mustard figures, and they didn't deserve her more attention.

After that night, at the request of my father, I had the opportunity to be taught by Taifu with Li Junze.

7

When he first went to school, Li Junze was only two years old, and he wore more clothes in winter, round and bulging like potatoes, and it was quite inconvenient to get on and off the carriage, so I hugged him; When others couldn't sit on the bench, I held him and held his hand to hold the pen.

Although Li Junze is small, he has already revealed the dignity and arrogance of the royal bloodline. He often stared at a pair of brown eyes that resembled princesses, full of curiosity about everything around him, and with a hint of imperceptible arrogance.

I followed him like an eldest sister and a maidservant.

Although the princess was not satisfied with my existence, she always wanted to find a personal maid to replace my position, but Li Junze always stuck to me, and when others touched him, he shouted and cried, and his round and bulging body like a potato rushed towards me.

And I was nowhere to be, holding the special milk cake in my hand, and lowered my eyes slightly.

When I was in the countryside, there was a famine, and I was so hungry that I had no way, I stole other people's milk, but my hand shook and spilled it all on the ground, and my mother saw that I was so hungry that I cried, so I took the only rice cake left in the house and mixed it with the milk on the ground, as well as the unique spices on the cliff of our house, and made me a milk cake, which had an addictive fragrance, so I made it in the same way, and fed it to Li Junze little by little.

Although I have been taking care of him, the child does not recognize people, if it is not for food, I am afraid that he will not remember people for a while, but he is my talisman in this house, how can I let him out of my side.

When Li Junze was older, he showed his talent, whether it was poetry and songs, horseback riding and archery, he learned very quickly, but he was just too lazy to copy many calligraphy notes arranged by the master, so I picked up the lamp to imitate his handwriting, wrote with him one by one, and secretly handed it to him before going to school every day.

This has almost become the closest secret between me and Li Junze, and it has finally replaced rice cakes as our most secret connection.

When we went to school with the other princes in the palace, the emperor would occasionally come, and he had the same fair skin and brown eyes as the princess, but he did not have the obedient face of the princess, and his eyes always seemed to be cleansed with melancholy.

The emperor's heirs are difficult, and there is only one prince Song Yin under his knees, and Li Junze, who is two years older, goes to school with us.

The emperor treats Li Junze's nephew very kindly, better than his own prince.

8

Winter goes to spring, and time passes like a white horse.

In the blink of an eye, Li Junze was thirteen years old.

He was born tall and straight, with a handsome face, a high nose and brown eyes, but the corners of his mouth were always raised, with a gentle smile, and he was a young man who would make people happy at first sight.

And I have become a noble girl who grew up under the rules of the imperial city, with dignified manners and good conversations, I always try my best to imitate the way the princess and others mingle, and I am praised as the daughter of the eldest princess and the dean of the Hanfu Academy, but only I know how I live trembling and cautious, in the dead of night, the memories of my childhood come like a tide, and I can always see my mother, who is swollen by the river, and the memory almost swallows me.

But Li Junze can't see the darkness in my heart, in his eyes, I am a beautiful and gentle sister.

It's just that as he grew older, he was born taller, but at the age of thirteen, he was already a head taller than me, and now he looks like my brother.

He was not used to calling me sister, he always called me "Ah Yue, Ah Yue", so I went with him.

Li Junze doesn't like to read those who are also there, but he likes to read all kinds of mountain and river logs, he took me to ride to the outskirts of Beijing, we lay on the grass together with our eyes closed, he would tell me interesting things on the grassland, such as looking up at night to see the sky full of stars, the wind blowing on the grassland with the fragrance of wild grass, after heavy snow in winter, the mountains are white and vast, pure and flawless.

Speaking of heartiness, he smiled and rubbed my hair: "Ah Yue, if you have time in the future, you can go to the grassland to play, and you will like it."

I turned my face slightly to look at him, my face was slightly crimson, and my black hair was blown up by the wind, and I saw the young man's slightly lost eyes, but he turned his head and slightly hooked the corners of his mouth—

Li Junze pinned a flower in my ear: "Ah Yue, you look so good!"

I blushed slightly, like the sunset we watched together that day, but deliberately said, "You should call me sister."

But he laughed and gestured to the man who was taller than us: "I'm a head taller than you!" I won't call you sister."

I clenched my fist and hit him in the chest, but he held the palm of his hand.

Looking up at him, his eyes wandered and a smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.

I admit that I have dark scheming for Li Junze, but at this moment, I also looked at the young man in front of me with a bright smile, but this moment is fleeting.

9

Li Junze completely fell into my hue on his thirteenth birthday, and he finally knew that he was not his father's son.

On this day, the princess hosted a banquet for Li Junze's birthday.

Daddy poured himself a drink.

Some people at the banquet said that Li Junze was born so heroic, not like his father's son, but like the widow of General Han back then.

However, some people say that the princess has been in the Jin Kingdom for a few years, and General Han Nuo has already died in battle, but looking at Li Junze's appearance, he looks a little like a prairie man.

These people are troublesome people, and when they are drunk and hot, if they make a little diversion, these words will naturally go in the direction I want.

Daddy heard this, and drank more and more quickly, and finally got drunk.

With a "choking" sound, Daddy finally broke the flask, stumbled to his feet, picked up his sword, staggered around, and roared, "Who? Who said Junzawa wasn't my child?"

Seeing her father's gaffe, the princess frowned inadvertently, then slowly stood up and walked towards her father, with a little displeasure in her tone: "Donkey, today is Jun Ze's birthday, why do you lose your sense of proportion for these nonsense?"

Daddy's eyes were already drunk at this time, he held his sword tightly, his eyes wandered between the princess and the guests, and his voice trembled: "Chu Yu, you tell me, Jun Ze...... Is Junzawa my child?"

The princess flicked her sleeves: "Pony, you are really drunk!"

She had Daddy taken down.

I was on the side, looking at Li Junze as if casually, his good-looking brows were already furrowed. He really doesn't look like his father, and in the past thirteen years, someone has always mentioned it intentionally or unintentionally, and if he is as smart as him, he has naturally been suspicious.

That night, after all the guests dispersed, Li Junze himself asked the princess, "Mother, am I really my father's son?"

The princess's expression was still arrogant, and her voice was cold: "Jun Ze, no matter what, you are my son."

"So who is my father, is it true that I am the son of the Jin Kingdom as they say?"

"Pop" The princess's slap slapped him in the face, and also broke the only remaining warmth and trust between their mother and son.

The princess is too arrogant, she always disdains to explain everything about her to anyone, but she doesn't know that this sentence is admitting to Li Junze that he is not my father's son.

I deliberately stood at the door of the princess's courtyard, and when I saw Li Junze rushing out with red eyes, I whispered to him, "No matter who you are, you are my Junze."

With that, I quickly disappeared into the darkness, my eyes shining like beasts, and the corners of my mouth smiling.

Mother, I've been doing what you say, enduring and staying up like a dormant beast, and now it's time for me to show my claws?

10

That night, Li Junze climbed over the wall and entered the courtyard where I lived, just like when he was a child.

He sat in front of the window, and the moonlight shone on his handsome face, gilding him with a silvery glow.

He looked a little confused and a little uneasy, and his brown eyes looked particularly deep in the moonlight.

I gently pushed open the window, and he looked up at me, his voice trembling a little: "Ah Yue, what did my mother say...... What does that mean?"

I was slightly stunned, then sighed softly and sat beside him: "Jun Ze, whether you are your father's son or not, you are my dearest brother. We're always going to be together, aren't we?"

His eyes were filled with tears, and his eyes were red: "Will I really be the son of the Jin Kingdom?"

I stretched out my nails painted with Kodan red, gently supported his face, and exhaled like an orchid in the dark night: "Junze, I have already said that no matter who you are, you are my Junze."

My words were like a demagoguery, and the scent of epiphany lingering in me haunted him.

Li Junze threw himself into my arms and cried like a child.

I stroked his hair gently.

For a long time, until his crying grew weaker, I felt the body in my arms suddenly feel hot.

I looked up and saw dark clouds passing by, obscuring the moonlight.

11

In the following days, Li Junze was angry with the princess, he no longer went to the palace to study, but took me to ride a horse unscrupulously, we stayed overnight and did not return home, I knew that all his actions were pushing me step by step to death, but I was just silent, with a smile in my eyes, silently accompanying Li Junze.

Sure enough, the princess's anger could no longer be suppressed, and on this day, when my father and Li Junze were not in the mansion, she brought a team of guards to my small courtyard.

I was reading a book at the stone table when I heard footsteps, but I slowly put the book down.

The princess is no longer the usual high-minded appearance, and there is an unconcealed disgust on her beautiful face, she stood in front of me, her cold face tightened her strength, and she wanted to strangle me to death: "You are really exactly the same as your slut mother, just as much as an eyesore!"

She didn't care about me, thinking that I was just a mustard at her feet, but I didn't expect me to grow like a weed, and I was right under her nose to get her most beloved son.

I laughed, for what I hated most over the years was her eternal dignity, as if we were nothing but dust, and at this moment, I had finally made her see that even a stubborn grass as I had could entangle and lift her mask of so-called perfection.

My smile made her angrier.

The princess stretched out her palm with a long armor cover, slapped me hard, and then threw me a three-foot white silk and a pot of wine, and said coldly, "Choose your own way of death!"

The maid Jasper on the side stopped her: "Princess, she is the daughter of a colt, if she dies like this, it is inevitable that some people will be suspicious......

I thought she was pleading for me, but unexpectedly, her words changed and the cold fear in my bones became more and more aroused: "It's better to push her into the lotus pond in the house!" Let her die silently, just like her mother."

Finally, the answer I had been asking for twelve years was ringing in my ears like thunder.

I have always known that my fierce and ruthless mother will never commit suicide by jumping into the lotus pond because of my father's abandonment, with her temperament, even if she lifts my father's mansion, she will seek justice for me and herself, but for so many years, I am also afraid that the mother who is not afraid of heaven and earth will commit suicide for me......

We suddenly got up and looked at the princess, "It's you...... You let people kill my mother?"

The princess's eyes were indifferent: "Your mother, who is your mother? Oh, it's Li Minghan, a village woman who has no matchmaking for untouchables!"

She...... Really look down on us grass people equally!

I jumped up, my throat chattering like a beast.

The princess took a step back, and countless people were already standing in front of her.

"A village woman, how is it worth my hands? But I found an excuse to withdraw from the marriage with your father, and your father begged like a dog, and showed loyalty to me with your mother's life!"

When I heard the princess's words, I was struck by lightning, and my body instantly stiffened.

I had expected that my mother's death was related to the princess, but I never expected that it was my father who killed my mother with his own hands.

When the princess saw that I was stunned, the smile on her face became even colder: "Originally, your mother could have lived, but she wanted to sue the royal court, saying that she wanted to fight for herself and you, but this fight ended her life!"

Her words pierced my heart like a sharp knife, and I asked in a trembling voice, "What if it was really my father who killed my mother...... Why would you marry him as a well-dressed beast?"

"Because I'm already living in purgatory! The reason why I married your father is just the end of the road!" A trace of pain flashed in the princess's eyes, "Since the royal brother asked me to marry, then I will marry!"

The princess's beautiful face was distorted, and her cold eyes were now hot and entangled like weeds!

"Li Ruyue, you could have lived. A pariah, like you, is not worth my hands at all." The princess smirked, a crazy look I've never seen before, "But why do you dare to touch my Ze'er? Such a lowly bloodline of yours, like your father, will only climb up regardless of shame and unscrupulous means!"

I closed my eyes tightly and let the princess's words pierce my heart like a knife. Those wounds buried deep in the heart were ruthlessly uncovered, drenched in blood.

12

When the princess saw that I did not speak, she ordered the guards to drag me to the lotus pond in the palace.

The water of the pond was clear and the lotus leaves were swaying, but in my eyes, it became the abyss of death.

"Push her down!" The princess's voice was cold and resolute.

I just felt light, and then cold, biting water poured into my nostrils.

I struggled, trying to call for help, but the water was like a devil's hand, clutching my throat tightly.

Mother!

Were you so desperate at that time?

The man you look at on the shore is the one you used to work hard and give everything, but he finally killed you in a frenzy for the sake of the glory and wealth at your fingertips.

My mother knows how to water, but she drowned.

Maybe that night, she watched her father in the lake, letting the lake flood her, without a single struggle, because she knew that only when she died, I had a chance of living.

So when I saw my mother's swollen body, I knew what I was going to do, and I was screaming in the crowd just to make my father come to me under pressure.

"But, mother, I'm sorry, I still didn't live as you thought. I'm a mayfly, but I always want to shake that tree!"

Just when I thought I was going to die, a hand grabbed my arm. I looked up with all my strength and saw Li Junze's handsome and anxious face.

"Ah Yue, hold on to me!" His voice rang in his ears, like a heavenly sound.

I grabbed his hand with all my strength, and then, as if grasping at a life-saving straw, I was pulled out of the brink of death.

I lay on the shore, gasping for air, while Li Junze crouched beside me, his eyes full of worry.

"Mother, why are you doing this?" Li Junze stood up, stood between me and the princess, and angrily questioned his mother.

The princess's face changed, but she quickly regained her arrogant appearance: "Jun Ze, you have the noblest bloodline in the world, and you have your own broad road to go!" This is by your side, and it will only ruin you!"

Li Junze looked angry and asked rhetorically, "Is it true that you and your father killed Ruyue's mother?"

The princess said coldly, "It's just an ant."

Li Junze stared at her: "Now you want to kill Ah Yue again?"

The princess was unmoved, and became more and more tough: "I knew about today's disaster, I should have cut the grass and eradicated it early in the morning!"

Li Junze looked at the princess, his eyes flashed with determination and coldness, he bent down to pick me up and walked straight out of the house.

The guards stopped him.

Li Junze roared, "If you don't let us go today, only the corpses of me and Ruyue will be left!"

"Li Junze!"

Li Junze took another step with a resolute expression.

The princess burst into tears, her hands trembled, and with a "choking" sound, her sword fell to the ground.

"Don't be afraid, let's go." Li Junze didn't look at the princess, only bowed his head gently and said to me, then hugged me and left resolutely.

The princess looked at the back that was gradually moving away, and the pain in her heart must have been like a knife.

"Li Junze, you will regret it!" The princess murmured again, her voice faint but full of determination. Maybe she knew that she couldn't get anything back, but this sentence was like a fire in her heart, burning and unwilling to extinguish.
