"Tong" embraces art
The 1st Macao International Children's Arts Festival was held in Macao in July and August, featuring 9 major sections: international performing arts, Broadway musicals, art exhibitions, film exhibitions, large-scale outdoor installations, art camps, master classes, workshops and art carnivals, bringing more than 1,000 events in 45 projects.
Through a variety of activities, we will brighten up children's childhood with culture and art, especially encourage parents to accompany their children to get in touch with art up close, multi-perspective and all-sensory, and even interact with performers.
The Children's Arts Festival is the first of its kind to offer a two-day and one-night immersive creative experience camp, allowing children to stay overnight at the Macao Cultural Centre and experience life together in an artistic atmosphere.
During the camp, children participated in interactive workshops to experience the infinite fun of art.
The children combine art and life, stimulate their interest in culture and art, expand their aesthetic horizons and innovative thinking with creative handicrafts.
The Macao International Children's Arts Festival invites everyone to embrace art and create a sky for children!
Children sit on the floor, use their imagination in the sun, and paint a colorful summer day with color.
Integrating the design elements of the Summer Carnival, the "Children's Book House" exhibits and sells more than 200 kinds of exquisite picture books, youth books, picture books, enlightenment books and other related cultural and creative products from more than 10 countries and regions.
The "Children's Book House" also offers a variety of art workshops for parents and children to participate in free of charge.
The "Macao International Children's Arts Festival" is a brand-new themed performing arts festival in Macao, which aims to build Macao into a "City of Performing Arts" by building a creative base for children's arts.
