Abstract:In recent years, with the rapid development of real 3D China and digital China, 3D model reconstruction of buildings has become an important part of smart city construction. This paper proposes a fully automatic building LOD2 model generation framework, which aims to solve the problem of building LOD2 model generation in city-level real-world 3D scenes. In order to automatically extract the building objects in the large scene, firstly, the scene orthophoto was used to obtain the boundary information of the building through image segmentation. Then, the improved enhanced planar area segmentation method is used to extract the high-quality segmentation plane, and the hybrid linear model is used to optimize the segmentation results, which can better deal with the problems of local damage and reconstruction errors of urban buildings. The experimental results show that the building LOD2 model generated by the proposed algorithm is of higher quality and efficiency, which can cope with the complexity of the urban building model and obtain more robust reconstruction results.
