The incident of "mixing kerosene and edible oil in tankers" has aroused widespread public concern about food safety. On July 9, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Jian'an District launched a comprehensive inspection action on the use of transport vehicles of edible oil manufacturers in the jurisdiction to ensure the quality and safety of edible oil in the transportation link and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.
During the inspection, the law enforcement officers focused on the internal cleaning of the transport vehicle, temperature control equipment, transportation and storage status and the tightness of the transport vehicle was strictly tested, for the substandard vehicles, the law enforcement officers ordered the relevant enterprises to immediately rectify on the spot, and required them to complete the cleaning work within the specified time to meet the standards of food safety transportation.
In the next step, the District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau will strengthen supervision, establish a long-term mechanism, and conduct follow-up reviews of the rectification situation to ensure that the problem is completely solved. At the same time, we will strengthen the publicity and education of edible oil manufacturers, improve the awareness of food safety and the main responsibility of enterprises, and jointly protect the "safety on the tip of the tongue" of the public. 目前，累计检查18家次，出动72人次，发现问题2家，责令整改1家，该项工作还在持续进行中。
