Vitex is a genus of plants in the verbena family, with its stems, leaves, and flowers all have different small surprises. The small branches of verbena are not conventional cylindrical, but quadrilateral; the palm-like leaves have a unique smell of the verbena family, which is used to resist insects; and most notably, its inflorescence, with small blue-purple flowers clustering into spikes, swaying, and blooming in the hot summer. The flowers of the vitex are born on the new branches, and after the first batch of flowers are removed, the residual flowers are pruned in time, the water and fertilizer are replenished, and the new shoots are promoted, so that they can bloom again in September. The spikes in the Ancient Yi Garden are planted at the water's edge, flower landscape, garden road and rockery, and different matching modes bring different landscape effects, and now is the best time to watch.
