Walking into the rose planting base of Manjianghe Village Committee, the breeze blows the fragrance of flowers, and as far as the eye can see, the growth of roses in the layers of flower fields is particularly gratifying. Pickers carry baskets and bags to shuttle through the sea of flowers, according to the growth standards of roses, and rush to pick the buds before they open, and the flower field is a busy harvest scene.
After the picking, the workers transported the collected roses to the special agricultural products sorting and processing center 2 kilometers away, and placed them in a sunny place for drying, and then carried a basket of dried roses into the drying room, and then placed them neatly in the bellows for mechanical drying, so as to make rose tea.
"There are many mountains in the Manjiang River, less flat land, and the actual cultivated land area is 3,146 acres, but the dry land accounts for 2,201 acres, and the per capita cultivated land area is only 0.83 acres." Che Yanga, secretary of the general party branch of Manjianghe Village, introduced.
Township party committees and governments take the cooperatives led by party organizations as a powerful starting point, and constantly broaden the new path for village collectives to increase income and the masses to get rich. Build a platform to establish Yuanyang County Hetian Investment and Development Co., Ltd., and develop "Phnom Penh" roses according to local conditions through the model of "township investment company + enterprise + village collective + farmer". At the same time, we will explore the "four gold" interest linkage mechanism of "cash + rent + stock + salary" for farmers, so that farmers can earn cash through their own planting, transfer land to obtain rent, village collectives can get shares from dividends from enterprises, and wages earned by picking and entering sorting plants, so as to achieve employment and income increase at home.
"There are more than 100 yuan of wages per day in the base, and the company has also transferred my family's land, which is much more cost-effective than planting corn!" Zhang Xiuying, a villager who was picking, said with joy on her face.

"Phnom Penh" can pick 40 kg to 60 kg of flowers per mu per day, the yield per mu can reach 1 ton to 1.5 tons, the output value income is 5,000 yuan/mu, and the annual output value is 1 million yuan. One planting can be harvested for ten years. After the peak production period, the flowering period is as long as nine months per year, which is a labor-intensive industry. At present, more than 100 migrant jobs have been provided, and it is expected that 500 acres of scattered planting will be driven by surrounding farmers next year.
The planting of "Phnom Penh" roses not only enriches the types of special agricultural products in Shalato Township, but also adds new impetus to agricultural efficiency and farmers' income.
