When the flood waters receded, the young man planted peach trees in his yard. In the spring of the following year, during the peach tree flowering season, the peach tree turned into a beautiful woman with a peach face, married this young man, and repaid the young man's life-saving grace......
The story is clichéd, but it's also new. First of all, it connects the legend with the flood, tourists come here, naturally think of the three rivers flood in 91 years, that is "famous in the whole country", not to mention that the peach blossom island scenic spot has the memorial site of the break of the year. And then they are all "helping others", and even "sacrificing themselves": the story of Jiao's mother and daughter has long become a classic, that is, the story of the young man saving the peach tree in the water, and the peach tree becoming a peach blossom girl to repay the kindness, is also absurd and warm, and has its own enlightenment of goodness and virtue. Now there are many young men who want to plant a peach tree there when they go to Peach Blossom Island, just like the "heart lock" on the cliffside of Huangshan Mountain, and the red silk rope under the "old locust tree" in Tang Mo.
The love for peach blossoms is evident in Sanhe and even in the entire Feixi. There is Peach Blossom Island in Sanhe Town, Taoxi Town in the west of Sanhe Town and in the upper reaches of Fengle River, and there is also Peach Blossom Town in Feixi as "Anhui's first economic town...... The place names in Sanhe Wetland Park are very interesting: "Wuhe", "Binguang", "Huguang", "Hubin", "West Lake", "Canggui" and "Happiness...... I was particularly interested in "Wuhe". According to the introduction of the county annals, there were originally five small polders in this place, and then they were connected into a large polder, called "Wuhe Wei", hence the name.
